The Tonks' Cottage looked beautiful with the Christmas decorations Andromeda had put up. It had shocked Cassiopeia greatly as it was nothing like the Black house. She had never expected their home to be dark and cold but she thought Andromeda wouldn't go so overboard with the decorations. In every room, there was snow falling from the ceiling, fairy lights were dotted around, and in the living room, there were four stockings full of presents.

It was something unknown to Cassiopeia.

Even the previous year, when she had stayed at Hogwarts over Christmas, was nothing like this. While the school was full of Christmas decorations, the Slytherin common room was left untouched as none of the Slytherins wanted their green room to be covered in red decorations.

"Merry Christmas, Cassie," Andromeda smiled brightly at her sister, "Here's to having a happy time."

Cassiopeia beamed back, "Merry Christmas."

She watched happily as Nymphadora struggled to open her presents. Her young niece giggled constantly as she unveiled her presents. As Cassiopeia stared at the child she was relieved the girl would have a happy childhood and would be loved.

She hoped that if she was to ever have children, they too would be loved.

Nymphadora crawled over to her aunt and held her hand out. Cassiopeia grasped onto her hand as she picked the girl up, "Hello sweetheart."

"Cass," The little girl managed to finally say, "Cass."

Her niece remained beside her as she unwrapped her present from James. She was unsure about what he could have gotten her. Nymphadora helped her rip the last bit of paper off and stared at the box. Cassiopeia herself was uncertain what was inside.

As she carefully opened it, Nymphadora clapped her hands enthusiastically as she giggled. Cassiopeia gasped as she saw a beautiful necklace. The silver chain had a hoop covered in diamonds that made Cassiopeia guess it had not been cheap for the boy. There was a note too - Cassiopeia smiled to herself as she read it 'Forever chasing you'.

Andromeda's eyes widened as she peered over her sister's shoulder and then she laughed to herself, "Oh, Cassie, that boy has got it bad."
