Chapter4: Escape

Avyanna flinched as she heard her dog barked, she looked at the clock to check the exact time. She's not wronged to trust Rori to wake her up because before even the clock struck 10 she's already awakened by her feline friend.

She kissed the dog's forehead as the dog licked her cheeks. He wagged his tail due to extreme enthusiasm.

"Stay here Rori, mommy will get back soon okay?" she commanded. The dog barked,he seemed to understand what his owner told him to do; for he's a wise dog.

"Good boy~" the beautiful girl chortle.

She stepped out in her room. Walang takot niyang nilakad ang pasilyo papunta sa kwarto ng kaniyang tiyahin. Madilim at sobrang tahimik sa buong paligid ng bahay, tanging kulig-lig lamang ang naririnig niya at ang harok ng kaniyang pinsan. She giggled at the thought of her cousin snorring like an old man. She covered her beautiful mouth to stiffle her giggle.

As she finally reached the frontdoor of her aunty's room, Frustrated that she doesn't have a spare key to unlock the door, she casted something.

"Égoutter..." the words floated to the thin air, she grabbed the doorknob then swung it open without any difficulty.

She tiptoed while walking cautiously, she's walking directly towards the cabinet. Trying to be silent to avoid any sounds that may awakened the couple. Habang pigil hiningang naglalakad she accidentally stepped unto something, she covered her mouth to muffled the sound that escaped her mouth. Napalingon siya sa magasawang mahimbing na natutulog, nakahinga siya ng maluwag nang mapagtantong hindi naman nagising ang dalawa o ang isa sa kanila, nagpatuloy siya sa paglalakad.

Ang hindi alam ng magandang dalaga ay nagising niya ang kaniyang tiyuhin. Tahimik niyang pinanood ang dalaga habang may kung anong hinahanap ito sa mga drawer.

Avyanna's fox like eyes twinkled as she saw the beautiful amulet. It still have the pitch black color. At alam niya na dahil iyon sa kanyang tiyahin. Dahan-dahan siyang naglakad palabas ng kwarto na may malaking ngiti sa labi.

The beautiful girl was oblivious that her uncle was actually watching her all the time since the moment she stepped unto something.

Yes finally! nakuha ko na ang amulet sa kamay ng tiyahin ko! Sinulyapan ko ang amulet sa aking dib-dib hindi parin nawawala ang kulay na itim dito. Lumingon ako sa paligid madilim parin at parang wala naman akong napapansing kakaiba. Lumingon ako sa aking likuran at doon ako kinabahan ng sobra. My jaw dropped at nanigas ako sa aking kinatatayuan nanlaki ang mata ko nang dahan-dahan siyang lumapit saakin. He's smiling like an evil. Did he knew that I sneeked into their room?

"Shh..." he placed his index finger at the top of his smirking lips. Sinunggaban niya ako at pilit na ipinasok sa aking kwarto, nagpumiglas ako nang nagpumiglas kaya nabitawan niya ako. Sinunggaban siya ni Rori kaya napasigaw siya. Walang makakarinig saamin mula sa labas.

"Avyanna kapag hindi mo pinatigil itong aso mo isusumbong kita kay Matilde, nakita ko ang kinuha mo kanina!" sigaw niya kaya mas lalo akong kinabahan. Patay ako kapag nalaman ni tita Matilde na may aso ako dito sa loob at kinuha ko ang amulet.

"Rori,stop!" I commanded, he stopped biting uncle Alfredo's legs but he didn't stop growling shkwing his sharp canines. Rori wants to protect me and he's such a good boy for that.

"Good..." he evily said. He stepped forward, he's getting nearer and nearer and It creeps the hell out of me. Uncle Alfredo's now infront of me. Nanaas ang balahibo ko ng idinapo niya ang likod ng kamay niya sa muka ko.
