Kageyama POV
He got released almost a day after and was advised to come back to school on Monday.

I asked to come pick him up and take him to school until he knows the roads well enough to come down to the park by himself.

"Hurry up, Hinata!" I call inside the house.

I've never actually been to his house until now, I just know where it is.

It's a lot smaller than I expected, but considering three people live in it it's sort of perfect.

"I'm coming!" he calls "Slow down, will ya?"

He fast walks down the corridor, zipping his bag up and finishing the toast in his mouth.

I sigh and walk out first, not even looking at him as he follows me out.

"How far is the school?" he asks, coming up next to me "Do we take a bus like we did from the hospital?"

"Well you usually ride from the park and my house isn't far from there but I guess we're walking today"

"That didn't exactly answer my question"

"I don't think you want to know how far it is"

He sighs.

"So umm..." I start.

Hinata is usually the one constantly talking and covering the silence, but today he has nothing to say.

I like to think that I like it when it's quiet, but for me it's just really awkward.

"Do you think you're going to be ok today"

"D-Don't say that!" he says "Why wouldn't I be ok?"

"I-I didn't mean it like that! I just thought seeing Karasuno again would..."

"Would what?"

"Never mind!"

Truth is I was scared about what it'd do to his head.

If seeing something as small as a park gave him a small headache, what will seeing the people he knows and the places he's been do to him?

He didn't talk the whole way there; instead he just fiddled with his fingers and breathed really hard.

"You ok?" I asked, bluntly but concerned.

He stops suddenly.

"I-I don't know if I can do this" he says, looking straight head.

"Huh?" I say, bending down to his height "You've been fine up until now. What're you getting all spooked for now?"

"I don't even know anything!" He says "What am I even supposed to do"

"It's school, dumbass. You listen and you-"

"That's not what I meant! I don't even know anybody. What am I supposed if they... I don't know ask me something about me? And I don't know who they are? That's just... That just feels... like I'm being-"

"You know me. And I'll be next to you all day. Don't even worry about it"

He was quite obviously still worrying about it.

"It'll be fine" I say, standing up straight "Come on, we're going to be late"

Hinata POV
The schools a lot smaller than I thought it would be, although I wasn't expecting anything too big to begin with.

There's three buildings, an oval, a hall and a gym; simple and effective.

I wondered if anyone had heard about what they were calling 'my accident'

I didn't think so; no one was looking at us even remotely weirdly.

Then again, there was hardly anyone there to begin with.

"Kageyama" I whisper, tugging on his shirt. "Are we like, really early or something"

"Huh?" he says back "Of course not! We're here for practice"

"Practice? You mean volleyball practice?"

"Yeah"

"So... does anyone on the team know me very well"

"Are you kidding me? It's almost annoying how friendly you are with everyone"

As we get closer and closer to the gym, my nerves suddenly spike up.

Of course, I would never show it; I didn't want to trouble Kageyama more than I already was.

What would I say to them?
What would they say to me?
I didn't even know these people.

Kageyama opens the gym doors and I feel my palms start to sweat.

The first thing I saw were two other boys.

One of them had a shaven head and looked pretty scary.
The other was short with brown hair and a dirty blonde dyed strip at the front.

As soon as they saw me, they dropped the brooms they were holding.

I took a step back as they ran up to me.

What do I do?
What should I say?
Who even are they?

"Uh, guys!" Kageyama says, loud and concerned "I don't think you should-"

"Hinata!!" They both shout.

Before I knew it, I was on the ground being helplessly smothered by the two boys.

It was so overwhelming I didn't know what to do.
I sat there blankly, looking up at them.
I almost felt scared.

I felt like a small animal at the zoo, it was terrifying.

"It's just like you to get yourself into an accident like that, isn't it?"
"So did you get some training in? What about the nurses were they-"

They stopped when they saw the face I was making.

"Guys" Kageyama loud-whispers "Remember he can't..."

I guess they forgot I couldn't remember anything.

I wanted to do something; to tell them that it was ok and that I understood

But I just sat there, looking right at them.

"Tanaka! Noya!" A loud voice calls and makes me jump a little.

"Captain!" the bald one calls "Sorry! We just sort of-"

A rather tall guy with short hair comes into my field of vision.

"What did I tell you about-" he stops mid sentence and turns to look at me

"H-Hinata" he says firmly but nervously, holding his hand out to help me up.

I accept his gesture.
He's pretty strong.

"Sorry about that. You two!" He shouts at the two boys. "Apologise"

"Oh... no" I say not wanting to embarrass them "it's fine-"

Hey bowed at me and said synchronised, "Sorry!"

After they pick themselves up, the one that they called 'captain' said,

"Hinata.... It's good to have you back"
