Hinata POV
When he told me he wanted to take me somewhere, it wasn't his words that left an uneasy feeling in the back of my mind.It was his tone.
Judging by the headache I got the other day and from what he's told me, I guess I knew this guy before I started highschool- or even middle school for that manner.
He was walking in front of me in silence, and I nervously strutted behind him.
"H-Harada..." I said "Where are we going?"
"What, you don't remember this path?" he giggled "Right, of course you don't"
He wasn't acting like he did in school; his playful friendly persona was gone.
He wanted something.
Whether that be from me or from himself I have no idea.We ended up going past through market place and past some bus stops, and when we finally walked up another parks stairs I saw
"Y-Yukigaoka Middle School?" I read.
"I would have taken you to the elementary but it's way too far" I grumbled and continued walking.
"Are you sure we're allowed to go inside?" I asked
It was already pretty late considering how far the place is and how badly I got lost earlier.
We didn't go inside the school, but rather on the playground just behind it.
He didn't say a word until we got there.
"So, none of this is familiar to you?" He asks me, stopping suddenly.
I come to a halt just in time as to not bump into him.
I peer around the place.
"Not at all-"
I feel a headache start to form as I glance over at a certain area.
"I-Is that place over there anything special?" I ask, pointing to a rusty pole that was broken; one part was sticking out of the ground and the top part was broken off, nowhere to be seen.
He smiles a little, showing his teeth.
"So you do remember" he says.
"Of course I don't.... that place just feels more familiar to me then anywhere else is all"
More than just a headache, that rusty broken pole left an uneasy feeling in my stomach.
I've seen that.
I've seen it somewhere before."Come on" he says "Why don't we take a closer look..."
I feel my palms start to sweat as we get closer.
I crouch down next to it to get a better look.
I tilt my head around it as I touch it."B-Blood..." I stutter "There's dried blood on the pole"
"That's still there?" he says sighing and rubbing the back of his head "I would have thought that it'd wash away after all of these years"
"You mean you were there when this happened?"
"Of course I was... you were too"
"I was? How come?"
He crouched opposite me and began to look at the pole as well.
"You were in some deep shit" he mumbles. "Helpless freak"
"H-Huh?" I said, not really knowing what to do.
He stands up and pulls me to my feet by the collar.
"You're telling me that you went through all of that..." he says between clenched teeth "We helped you through all of that? And you don't remember any of it?"
"Sorry..." I whisper "But I don't-"
"Shut it! I know you don't. I've heard it already."
I kind of just look at him as he peers down at me.
His words may be angry but his expression hasn't changed much.
"The blood..." I say to him, careful not to use the wrong tone. "Who's is it?"
He scoffs.
"You really want to know, huh?"
I nod.
"You clueless idiot, what your seeing is your own-"
"Hinata!" I quickly turn my head, following the familiar voice I'd just heard.
Kageyama...?
Harada gritted his teeth and mumbled, "Leave it to the other freak to ruin our little reunio-"
"The hell are you doing?" I was so focused on what Harada was saying that I didn't realise Kageyama running this close.
He pushed Harada away from he and pulled my to stand behind him.
"Ease up, hard head" Harada said fake-friendly. "You shouldn't get into other people's business"
"Kageyama..." I say hoarsely "Come on, let's just go-"
"Be quiet" he says "I'll deal with you later"
"Oh would you look at that. How friendly" Hadara says sarcastically "How long are you going to keep playing the innocent card Shouyo?"
By now Kageyama was already dragging me back home, leaving a rather amused Harada watching us leave.
"What are you doing here?" I ask "I thought you went home."
"I knew your dumb ass would get lost" he said "I just didn't think you were dumb enough to go with Harada"
"Why do you care?"
"When I saw you two he was holding you by your neck. I think that's more than enough of a reason to worry"
"It was my collar... whatever"
As I walk along next to him I can't help but notice his angrier than usual expression.
"I'm sorry, okay!" I say finally
"I thought I told you not to talk to Harada"
"I don't have to listen to everything you say"
"You don't know the guy. It's best if you just listen to what your told"
"From the looks of it, it doesn't look like you know him either"
He grits his teeth.
"I know enough"
He doesn't know anything.
And I guess neither do I.But that rusty pole was going to be burned in the back of my mind until I find out what's really going on...
