Chapter 1

I'm currently here inside my room, making a psychological report for my abnormal psychology class. The deadline is still next week but since I got nothing to do why don't I just do it and finish it by today.

I am a type of person who rarely procrastinate. I tend to do things way ahead of time. I don't see the point of delaying things if I don't have anything better to do.

After 2 long hours, I was done. I suddenly heard something from outside my room.

"Gemini! Bumaba ka na dito! Help me prepare dinner please."

I heard my Mama from downstairs. I fix my stuff first then bumaba ako. I saw my mom chopping some vegetable.

"Ma, ano pong matutulong ko?"

I ask my mother in a loving tone. Since I'm the youngest child in the family, I tend to be sweet to my mama and papa, oh, and also my brothers. I was always the sweet child in our family, malambing kasi ako and according to them ako yung pinakasoft-spoken na tao na alam nila. They told me I tend to speak sweetly naturally to people, even to strangers. It is not like I force myself to do it that way, that is just how I communicate. Hindi ko nga din alam bakit it comes out sweetly according to them.

"Baby, can you taste the soup that I made? Feeling ko kasi maasim, try mo para ma adjust ko yung lasa."

Kumuha ako ng kutsara then tasted the soup.

"Ma, okay na po. It taste great! I'll just prepare the dining table po."

Pumunta ako sa dining table and kumuha ng limang pinggan, then limang spoon and fork. Kumuha rin ako ng bowl since my soup na niluto si Mama.

"Gemini. Please inform your Papa and your brothers na we can eat na."

Pumunta ako sa entertainment room at nakita ko si Papa at mga kapatid ko nanonood ng Money Heist, the series that they are currently binging on.

"Papa, Kuyas, kain na po tayo. Mama and me prepared dinner na."

Kuya Ed stood up first at pumunta palapit sakin pero tumakbo ako pababa papuntang dining table.

"Gemini! Bakit ka tumakbo? Hindi naman kita kikilitiin. Ikaw talagang bata ka, assumera ka talaga."

Sabi ni Kuya Ed papasok ng dining area. Nag-tongue out lang ako at nag smile. Si Kuya Ed yung pinakamatanda sa aming mag kakapatid, he is actually a lawyer in the making, 4th year Law student na si Kuya sa isang university dito sa amin.

"I just did some precautionary measures, Kuya."

Sagot ko naman sa kanya while grinning. May naramdaman naman akong nag pat ng aking ulo, nakita ko si Kuya Denver na naka smile sa akin at biglang kinurot yung cheeks ko.

"Kuya, masakit. Ang bad mo talaga."

Sabi ko kay Kuya Denver while frowning. Si Kuya Denver naman yung sunod kay Kuya Ed. He's a med student, 2nd year med student to be specific. Siya yung mahilig mangurot sa aming magkakapatid.

"Ang cute mo kasi eh. Taba ng cheeks mo."

Sagot sakin ni Kuya Denver sabay tawa.

Nakita ko naman si Patrick na umupo sa designated niya na upuan dito sa dining room.

"Gem, saan na si Mama?"

Tanong ni Patrick, siya yung twin brother ko. He always want me to call him Kuya pero 10 minutes lang naman yung gap namin so I prefer to call him by his name. He's currently a 2nd year engineering student sa same University kung saan nag memed school si Kuya Denver.

"Baka nag lalast touch sa mga hinanda niya."

Sagot ko naman sa kanya. Bigla siyang tumayo at pumunta sa kusina, siguro tutulong siya kay Mama to get the food.

"Baby Gem, kamusta yung school work mo? I saw you earlier working on it so I didn't disturb you."

Sabi naman sa akin ni Papa. Papa and Mama, sometimes my brother, tend to call me Baby kasi bunso eh. My full name is Gemini Dianne Zeruth, ako yung youngest sa family. Currently in my 2nd year college studying BS Psychology.

We started eating dinner. We talked about updates regarding our academic life. Napagusapan din namin tungkol sa negosyo ni Papa but only bits kasi ayaw ni Papa na problemahin namin yun. Papa is a businessman pero he was always down to earth. Mama has been so supported to all of our endeavors, she's pratically everybody's supporter.

My life may be boring to some people but I treasure every moment of it.
