Time ~ 12:45 p.m. ~ Tyler's POV ~

Location ~ Kingdom of Flowers - Tyler's bathroom ~

I had finally finished those awful dance lessons and decided to take a bath because I could and I just felt dirty after the lesson.  I couldn't help but think about what Ash said the other day as I was sitting there.  It had been stuck in my head all day along with him.  I just couldn't help but feel guilty as I sat there.  The more I thought about my actions the worse I felt.  I just couldn't get over how bad I felt and decided that once I was finished I would write a letter to apologize.  That would be the end of it.  Once I wrote the letter I would be free of guilt and he would have an apology.  It was perfect.

I finished up and then began to write after I got ready.  The moment I began I realized just how hard it was going to be to write this.  After more than a couple rough drafts I came up with a letter that I was happy with.  It read as follows:

Dear Prince Carter,

I am writing to apologize for my actions on the day we met.  It was wrong of me to assume you would act a certain way because of where you came from.  I should have and could have handled the situation better.  At the time I was overwhelmed and confused and chose to take it out on you.  You chose to be kind to me that day and I should have done the same.  For these reasons I would like to apologize.

Sincerely,

Prince Tyler

Satisfied with the letter I gave it to someone to have them deliver it.  After that I felt relieved and was free of those thoughts for the rest of the day.  I was so pleased with myself that I chose to spend the rest of my day reading.

Time ~ 7:15 a.m. Next Day ~ Carter's POV ~

Location ~ Kingdom of Swords - Carter's room

I was awoken by someone telling me I had a letter.  Which was odd considering I only really talked to Jayden.  What was even more strange was the fact that it was from Tyler.  Seeing this immediately improved my mood and I eagerly opened the letter to read the contents.  What it said surprised and pleased me.  I felt like I could go about this two different ways.  the first was to write a letter accepting his apology and be done with it.  Or the more fun option of saying I will only accept his apology if he agrees to meet me somewhere.  I of course chose the second option and got to work.

Dear Tyler,

I was touched by your apology but I will not accept it.  Except under one condition.  I will only accept if you agree to meet me under the big tree in the forest at the half way point between our kingdoms.  Please don't come in a carriage.  Only bring yourself and your horse as well as one more thing that will make you fell comfortable that isn't a human or animal.  It is under these conditions that I will accept your apology.  Please send a response within three days of this being sent.  If you agree meet me in 5 days after receiving this at around 12:30 ish.  For conformation this would be on the 29th.  Please send me your response.

Yours truly,

Carter

I just hoped the he'd actually respond to me and not get super upset that I'm making demands.  Despite that thought I still continued to send off the letter in hopes he would accept.  Now the matter at hand was what I was going to plan.  I could be cheesy and make a picnic spot.  Another option would be to not do anything and just talk.  Thinking about this now I could ask him to send me a list of things he likes, but that might make it too obvious.  I ended up settling somewhere in the middle by planning to make something sweet and bring a blanket and umbrella just in case.  I decided that I would make sugar cookies since almost everyone likes cookies and that flavor is the safest option.  I wouldn't have to make them until the day before so I was good for now.  All I had to do was wait for a response.

A/N Sorry for the little cliff hanger.  That last sentence was just too perfect to not stop on.  Anyways I hope you liked this chapter and have a good day or night.
