Bakugou rolled his eye as he reached out his hand and accepted Haze's extended ones and got up.'I expect him to be all grumpy, go ape shit and be a sore loser but he sure knows sportsmanship.' Haze thought.
"For a girl, you could really pack a punch huh?! Are you on steroid!?"
Bakugou grumbled with his face just as angry. Haze laughed at this loudly. She suddenly felt a dark sharp jealousy being shot her way as she snapped her head to its source only to find her classmates, she couldn't point out who. 'That was murderous! But who could it be?' The two stepped down the platform.
"You're not that hurt are you?"
"That was really fucking awesome Haze but dont assume you could hurt me to the point of injury. Im not a fragile weakling who gets hurt easily."
Bakugou said as he harshly tugged his hand off and walk off to his squad. Haze was left there stiff and still as a rock. 'Bakugou just called me by my name! I got his respect huh? He usually calls me a crackhead or a trap.' She went to stand next to Aizawa.
"You went a little overboard Missy."
"Tsk, you were pretty amused about Bakugou trash talking me back there. I just put on a little show."
"Why dont you go sit with the kids?"
"I just wanna bond with my coworker. Is there something wrong with it?"
She teased and got closer to Aizawa.
Midoriya was shocked to see Bakugou loose to a girl. 'Haze Asuhi' Midoriya scanned his data of Haze's quirk from his log. 'Her speed and movement was fluid and immaculate. I couldn't tell if it's from her physical alone or with the help of her quirk. She is too strong. I bet even Todoroki will have a hard time defeating her.' Midoriya glanced over where Haze would be and blushed as he saw Haze leaning in and hugging Aizawa's arm, to Midoriya's shock Aizawa didn't do anything about it unlike towards Ms Joke. Midoriya nervously pointed to their direction as Uraraka and the others followed to where he's pointing Tsuyu was already staring. Iida was quiet at first as he bowed his head, his hair covering his eyes, he surprised the whole class as Iida sprung from his seat and boldly pointed to the two: Aizawa and Haze then yelled-
"PDA! PDA! PDA! STUDENT AND TEACHER!! UNFORGIVABLE!"
The whole class gushed about them. Haze only laughed it out and let go of Aizawa's arm and came and join the class as if nothing happened. Haze approach Midoriya and his squad Iida came up to question her.
"What was that huh? Lady Asuhi! Student and teacher relationship is prohibited and against the law!"
"Haha! That was nothing Iida. Don't worry."
Haze dismissed and sat next to Iida as they watch the rest of the fight unbothered. Midoriya noticed that Asui was unusually quiet the whole day.
The seating arrangement was.
Haze|Iida|Uraraka|Midoriya|Tsuyu
"Tsu, are you alright? You seem to be unusually quiet today?"
This caught Uraraka and Haze's attention as Iida was too busy watching Hanta and Rikido's fight.
"Yeah Tsu, you know you can tell us anything right?"
'I guess this is the time, though I was hoping we could talk about this back in the dorm.' Haze thought.
"Do you wanna talk, Tsuyu?"
Haze asked. Uraraka seems to get what's happening as she nodded at Haze to show her approval. Iida complained and asked why was Haze leaving, Haze felt it again: The menacing aura. It was from Tsuyu! Tsuyu only looked down to her lap and nodded as she followed Haze out off earshot quietly.
"I guess you already know."
Tsuyu said quietly as she played with her hands.
"You're an empath afterall."
"I'm sorry Tsuyu."
"Call me Tsu."
"Right... Tsu. Look, I dont have to reject you, I'm guessing you're not into girls?"
Asui looked down. 'Oh no.' Haze thought to herself.
"I'm bi now."
Asui said tentatively seemingly uncomfortable with the new found information about herself.
"By now you're what?"
Haze tried.
"No, I'm bisexual now."
Well, atleast she tried. Hanta Sero won in the background. Haze took a deep breath.
"You dont have to be."
Haze reasoned. Asui seemed offended.
"You know, for an empath you're insensitive for your own good."
"I didn't want it to appear like that."
Haze was exhausted to say the least: mentally. She took a deep breath and slumped her shoulders.
"Listen, I'm really sorry but I don't feel the same."
Asui began to tear up. They were interuptted by Uraraka calling out for Tsu as it was now hers and Mezo Shoji's turn to battle. Asui used her tongue to hurry up to the platform or to get away from Haze, Haze couldn't figure out.
Tsuyu Asui lost against her opponent. Haze sighed from her seat, she couldn't help but feel guilty. 'Was I too harsh? Rejection ought to hurt, however the method is.' She was too exhausted with thinking too much and feeling alot she dropped her head to the back. Bakugou sitting directly behind her seat. Seeing him now, she noticed his glare was fixed at the two particular individual Haze knew all too well. Haze rolled her eyes 'If he's too jealous then should he do something by now? Fucking pussy... Here I go again, thinking and feeling again.' She stopped herself from thinking but can't really do anything when her empath ability acts up. She groaned and place her head against Iida's muscular shoulder. Too tired to feel and notice Iida's heart racing.
Haze fell asleep. Iida looked over the girl sleeping against his shoulder, almost slipping off, he smiled and fixed her sleeping position. 'She fell asleep, must've been exhausted. It is my job from now on to tend to Lady Asuhi if at the end of her every battle she'll get this exhausted.' Iida thought to himselp. Haze smiled in her sleep and rubbed her head against Iida like a cat, Iida saw this as he blushed and tried to focus on the last match. Bakugou, seeing the scene in front of him unfold, he made a face one with disgust.
