"Hi." They both said.

"Hi." I replied.

I shuffled my books in my arms and stood next to Michael.

"Soooo, can I borrow it?" Calum asked.

"Just don't fuck it up okay?" Michael said.

"You got it."

Calum opened the passenger door for me and I got in and put on my seatbelt. Calum did the same and started up the car.

"Are you ready for an adventure?" He asked.

"Yeah." I giggled.

I wiped my sweaty palms on my jeans, I get nervous when driving with other people. He turned on the stereo and "Jesus of Suburbia" By Green Day quietly played in the background.

"Do you like Green Day?" He asked me.

"Yeah." I said. "I like this song."

He nodded his head understandingly and continued to drive on.

"So this is the busiest part of the city. Coffee shops, parks, stores, restaurants, places that tourists visit, and much more." He said driving down a long road.

"What is that place?" I asked, pointing to a place called, "Funland."

"You've never been to Funland?" He asked.

"No."

He turned around and drove back to the place and parked close to the entrace. When we walked in, there were video games, lazer tag, and little kids chasing each other around. He got change for a 5 and pulled me over to a video game.

"This one is my favorite." He said.

"Zombie Apocalypse 3-D."

"Yeah."

He put in the amount of money needed and we began to play. After 5 minutes of playing, Calum had died and I beat the game.

"Wow." He said.

"I know right!" I laughed.

I pulled him over to a pinball machine.

"I suck at this, do you think you could help me?" I asked.

"Yeah, sure." He said.

He came behind me and put his hands over mine. The ball came out and he pushed my fingers into the little buttons.

"So the goal is to get it into that little hole right there that has flames on it and says 10,000 points." He said.

We kept playing and missing the little 10,000 points hole. I started to get frustrated and put my head down, but then Calum moved closer to me and told me that we were really close to winning. He pushed my right finger one more time and with just enough luck, it went in. We both just got the highest score. The board gave us three spaces for intials. I typed N&C and looked at him.

"You're so freaking cool Calum." I said.

"Thanks." He smiled.

After that, we went to some different places and saw different things. Eventually, he drove over to the Luke guy's house and led me in. I heard drums banging from the basement and people talking loudly. He took me downstairs and told me that I could sit on the small couch placed in front of another couch, with a tv hooked into a wall to the left.

"What song do you want to play?" Luke asked.

"Heartbreak Girl?" Michael suggested.

"Can we cover Year 3000 again and then play Heartbreak Girl?" Calum asked.
