Chapter 8

I opened my eyes to reveal the second Monday that I'm in the school, so far it has been amazing and I really want to get up and go but I really can't be bothered to get up.

"Come on!" Poppy's fragile voice woke me up for the 10th time.

I finally got up to get ready.

As the bell rang for school I headed to form. I wasn't really in a mood until I saw Jake, his beautiful eyes looking around the room to find me and then he smiles when he finally found me.

As I approached him he started talking.

"Hey." He smiled.

I sat down and started apologising.

"Look I'm so sorry about yesterday, I just really wanted to see Amy and I know I could have another time but I'm so sorry and I feel so bad, you must have wanted to kill me."

"Woah, woah, woah, woah! Maddi calm down, it's alright I get it you just wanted sometime with your friend, I would have done the same thing if I were you so don't worry."

"Yeah but I feel really bad!" I put my head in my hands.

"How did you get on with the skateboard?" He asked me changing the subject while trying to get my hands off my face.

I took them away and instantly
changed my mood.

"OMG it was brilliant, I got Amy to watch me and also after she left I practiced for like hours, I would have texted you to come but I don't know where you live I mean it could be far away but I mostly didn't want you getting bored of me from trying over and over."

I looked down at my bag on the floor. He lifted my face up with his fingers, our eyes met, he stared into my eyes while he whispered.

"Maddilyn Parker, I would never get bored of you and I only live 2 minutes away from the park." He gently smiled.

I could imagine how boring and dark my eyes were and even though he said he wouldn't get bored of me and that my eyes were beautiful I'm pretty sure he was bored of them while I was completely amazed by his, they were this perfect green/blue colour that I would stare into for hours because they expressed so much and I loved blue and green eyes so.

"Are you kidding me? I live 2 minutes away from the park! We must be neighbours!" I looked at him and cheered up from my embarrassment.

"Well we'll find out when I walk you back after school." He grinned at me.

"Awesome!"

As I was walking down the stairs I got separated from Jake as he was with his friend but I didn't mind because it gave me time to think.
I didn't need to check my timetable as I knew I had French again just like last Monday.

I entered the room and the first person I noticed was Aaron (mystery boy). His green eyes were staring at me.

I frowned remembering how rude he was last week. His eyes left me and I took my seat.

The lesson slowly passed by hearing sir talking some stuff in the background but I was too busy looking back at Aaron seeing if he was looking at me and most of the time he was except if he wasn't playing around with his facial expressions with Jo that was seated being me.

As the lesson ended I walked out and was greeted by heavy rain but I didn't take it as a greeting.

I gently laughed as if to say.
'Well this is normal for England!'
