"You aced it!" Jake clapped as I finished the test he set me.
"Yes! I'm so brilliant!" I put my hands in the air and did a little celebration dance I sometimes do.
But I didn't realize the skateboard was still behind me, so clumsy me I stepped back and tripped on my skateboard and I was falling back. I closed my eyes so I wouldn't remind myself of how clumsy I was. Just before I landed on the floor I was caught (again) and unlike last time where we both fell this time there was enough balance and we both managed to stay upright but we ended up in the position that you are when you finish dancing.
"You know even though you are now pretty good at skateboard, even better than me, but that will never stop you being the clumsiest person I've ever met!" He looked at me in that 'I love you' look AGAIN.
"Yeah but that is one of the reasons you love me!" I smiled.
"Yeah that's true!" He whispered and he leaned in closer. Omg is he going to kiss me?
Before I knew it his lips were on mine. I felt goose bumps form on my skin, even though I didn't think of Jake in this way I still felt this massive thing inside that made me enjoy it a lot.
He pulled me away and we froze looking at each other.
"I thought we were just friends?" I asked frozen in his blue/green eyes.
"Yeah and we still are, I just wanted to make you feel better and to let you know how special you are well atleast to me!" He helped me back up and made me smile.
"I love you Jake! You know that?" I hugged him.
"Yeah I know!" He gently laughed.
