This chapter, and it's part 1, have been on my mind and in the works for surprisingly several months. I planned on putting these in ABOB, but figured I would give more content and suspense in a sequel.

Hold on though! I know you want to read the wedding, but one second.

I started All Because of Biana in hopes of getting at least 100 reads or less. It currently has 18 thousand. I am so grateful for the progress I have made as an author and the bond I feel I've grown with you as you comment and read. So, thank you.

One last thing before we start; the series. Recently, I have not been thinking of ending this series anytime soon. In fact, a third and fourth (maybe more) book have been in the back of my mind for quite some time. If you would like to see this, please comment or vote in this chapter for future content.

A huge shout-out to holo_hamilton for being my best friend in the entire world and always being there for me. She has a book called, "Cognates ~ A Sofitz Story". Go read it or I'll stab.

On with the chapter!

The crowd held their breath, standing and fixing their clothes. For as elegant and fancy as the elves dressed at events, they looked kinda normal. Kinda like humans.

Probably to not outshine the bride.

Sophie stood at the door for a moment, her nerves taking hold of her ability to walk.

She glanced around in a panic, her eyes darting around a large crowd of people. She didn't even know half of these people.

Her eyes met Edalines. Sophie's mother smiled sadly and nodded, mouthing words Sophie couldn't make out.

With her new found determination, she met her father and linked their elbows. They began to walk down the isle, Sophie's crushing grip intensifying as they went, her head bowed to avoid eye contact.

As they walked, Sophie gathered the courage to look up, meeting eyes with a teal eyed boy.

Fitz stood at the alter, his face as red as ever. His gelled back hair made him look even more handsome. She couldn't help but notice the section of silently sobbing girls off to the side of them, their faces looked familiar from school.

He wore a suit, the same light purple color of Sophie's dress with a flower in his pocket.

When they reached the alter, Grady faced his daughter, years streaming down his face. Sophie fought off the urge to cry and she hugged him tightly and whispered that she loved him, so much.

Upon parting, Sophie climbed the few steps onto a platform.

She got lost in Fitz's gaze, nearly zoning out. However, a weirdly familiar voice brought her out of her daze.

"Councilor Bronte?" She asked quietly.

He chuckled, whispering back, "I'm a man of many talents. Shall I start?"

Fitz and Sophie both nodded, taking each others hands and putting on their respective rings as the councilor began speaking.

"Today is not only a union of two people, but of two families. We are here today to celebrate the marriage of Sophie Elizabeth Foster and Fitzroy Avery Vacker. I can tell that the two of them are excited and beyond nervous, so let us skip the speech and get straight to the point."

"Fitz, do you take Sophie to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do you promise to take care of her and your family for as long as the two of you may live? To-?"
