Okay. I said I'd do at least thirty-something chapters so be prepared for me to spit out so many chapters your brain splits in half. Speaking of which, go bug holo_hamilton.
I want her to update and she does it like once a month. So do the traditional reader thing and yell at her to update Uwu. (Sorry dude I love you) OK ON WITH THE CHAPTER!
Fitz backed away from Sophie in a blushing mess.
Sophie's eyes widened as the turned to face the voice. "Mr..Mr. Forkle. What are you doing here?"
"Miss Vacker insisted that I also rent out a room here. She said I would be here to communicate updates. Updates on your son, since you're worried, Miss Foster. Although, I suppose I can't call you that now, can I?"
Sophie turned red. Redder than she ever had. "I..I suppose so," she laughed nervously through her words. "Th-thank you, but did you need to barge in and not knock?"
Fitz walked over to Sophie and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
"Ah," Forkle continued. "I saw your little incident with the receptionist. I figured you would think she was knocking and refuse to answer. But I guess I'll have to knock next time."
"Next time?" Fitz asked, slightly annoyed. "I thought the whole purpose of this trip was to get away from everyone and just be us two."
"..." Forkle facepalmed. "Fitz, you're dumb. I'm going to update you on your son's condition when needs be. Bye hoes."
He slammed the door behind him.
"Uhhhh..." they both said in unison.
"I don't think we made him happy. He didn't say Mr. Vacker and called us hoes." Fitz said. "what's A HOE?!"
"A topic for another day." Sophie sighed. "What are we doing now?"
Fitz regained his composure. "Unpack, lunch, and explore?"
"Sounds good." She smiled.
It was the day before the end of their honeymoon when Mr. Forkle came rushing towards them.
They were on the beach building a sandcastle, as most adults do when he came yelling and running towards them.
Sophie's eyes widened as she shot up from the sandy floor. "Forkle?! What's wrong?!"
"Is it William?!" Fitz asked, voicing the question they must have both been thinking. "Is he okay?"
"William is perfectly fine," Forkle explained, causing the couple to release the anxious breaths they were holding. "But I cannot say the same for your mother."
His words were directed towards Fitz.
The world seemed to stop. Did she get hurt? Maybe she was visiting the pastures of Havenfield and Verdie got out?
Did Keefe regain his memories?
All possible outcomes.
"The older Mrs. Vacker has gone into labor."
Labor.
Everything recently had been very focused on Sophie, Fitz, and Keefe. No one barely gave a second thought to the very pregnant mother.
"What are we waiting for?!" Sophie yelled when no one said anything. "We have to go, now!"
A waterfall was nearby, so Sophie dragged them towards it.
Sand slipped and slid underneath her feet, mixed with the stares, made Sophie nearly fall.
But she needed to get Fitz to his mother, to greet his new brother.
The sky cracked as the trio fell into the Elven world.
Forkle led them into the Vacker house, waving for them to follow as he ran down the path.
Once they reached the house, they threw the door open.
Their eyes met with a rook full of others.
"Sophie! Fitz!" Most of them yelled when they saw them.
Them consisted Grady, Edaline, Biana, Dex, Tam, Lihn and a lonely Alden. Plus Keefe.
"Mom! Dad!" Sophie yelled and ran to them, hugging them tightly.
They hugged her back as Fitz walked over to his sister and father to comfort them.
"What in the world are you wearing?" Grady asked when she stepped back and he examined her.
She was wearing a bikini -since they were legit just at the beach- and Fitz wore swim shorts.
The only problem was that Biana packed for Sophie and she didn't know what she would be getting. So of course, the swimsuit she wore revealed too much. Lesson learned.
Sophie turned red and crossed her arms over her chest, unable to speak.
They laughed.
"Looking good Foster." Keefe smirked. "Makes me wanna marry you myself."
Everyone glared at Keefe. But at least his memories were still wiped.
"I will never understand you Keefe. Biana, can I borrow some less revealing clothes?"
And with that, they set off to Biana's room.
She pulled her into her room silently.
And surprisingly, Biana was quiet the whole time Sophie got dressed, not even bothering to ask her if she could do her hair or makeup.
"Biana," Sophie asked and walked towards her sister-in-law as her gown dragged on the floor. It was a dark purple and had a flowing skirt but skin tight top. "are you okay dear?"
Biana suddenly broke out in tears. "No.."
The way her voice quivered and shook urged Sophie to wrap her in a tight hug.
"You've always been there to help me." Sophie said as she stroked Biana's hair. "I'm here for you this time. Your mother will be just fine. She's strong. She can do this. I see so much of her in you and you're the strongest person I know."
Biana finally calmed down, wiping away her tears and ruined makeup.
Suddenly, Elwin opened the door with the rest of their friends and family behind them.
They didn't question Sophie nor Biana when they saw them in the floor in a hug.
Instead, he only said three words.
"They're doing fine."
