Matt

After leaving Neoma, I was taken to the third floor; my roommate was the shy omega that Neoma asked for directions. His name is Leo. He's only 15. That's all I've gotten out of him in the last 20 minutes before he ran off to goddess only knows where. I grab a key off my desk and return to the cottage. I decided to take the scenic route back, explore the grounds more, and clear my head; I deleted all my social media/dating accounts and apps.

I feel so guilty for putting the only family I know in danger ... that's not going to happen again. I walk past a fountain and sit on the edge; it's a beautiful fall day today (not too hot, not too cold, I watch as the trees sway and the wind blows into them. It's peaceful here, something we haven't gotten a lot of. I close my eyes and listen to the fountain, relaxing my senses. "Hey," I jump up to find Geo standing in front of me. "geez G, you scared the hell out of me," he chuckles. "sorry," he looks exhausted, like he hasn't slept in days. "how's Elle?" He sighs. "they put her in a coma-like state to try to calm the baby; he's strong and stubborn, so they are trying to keep him from coming for at least a week or two. They told me, well, forced to head to you guys to get some sleep and come back in a few hours after they finish running some test" he sits next to me, looking down at his feet, his dreads hanging in front of his face "she's gonna be alright you know, Elle is a fighter she'll come out of this ten times stronger" he looks up at the sky "I know but it doesn't make me feel any better knows I can't do anything to help her or our child"

I look at him I swear I've never seen him so physically drained in my life, his normal rich dark skin is dull and almost grey like his eyes are sunken in like a a raccoon. "Let me show you to the cottage so you can get some rest and a meal." I get up and walk to the cottage, Geo following shortly behind.

We get to the cabin, and Geo sits on the couch. "Geo!!!" Luna jumps from behind the couch, giving him a big hug. "I've missed you. You have to see this huge house, two bathrooms, a huge kitchen, and a garden, and I HAVE MY ROOM!! can you believe that?" Geo gives her a half smile. "that's great, little one." She realizes Geo isn't like himself and looks at me. "Lu, how about we give Geo some time to rest?" she nods and heads into her room; I walk to the kitchen where Aku is making lunch. "how is he?" I open the fridge and grab water. "Weak, he needs sleep and food. Elle is in a coma-like state, and he says she'll be like that for a while, so we have to make sure he's keeping himself healthy."

Aku nods his head. "I have to pack my stuff up and head back to the house," he puts a plate on the kitchen island with a sandwich. "right, I'll text you and Noma about training, but for now, let's just get re-adjusted here." I nod. My head and head back to 'my room.' I grab my duffel and re-pack all my stuff I'm not leaving anything. Neoma knocks on the door with her bag at her feet. "hey, when did Geo return? He's knocked out cold right now." I look at her. "yeah, he should be; he hasn't slept since they took Elle to the infirmary. I haven't seen like this," she leans on the door frame. "yeah, I know, it's wild how close their bond is. It's like they feel each other's pain." I zip up my bag and sling it over my shoulder. "ready to head back to our new reality?" Neoma picks up her bag, "as ready as I'll ever be." We say goodbye to Luna and Aku and return to the pack house.

Greyson

5 hours left until I finally meet her

My nerves are starting to get the best of me, but I won't let it. How would it look for me, the alpha son, to be a nervous wreck in front of the girl destined to lead by my side? No, I must be strong to show her and my pack that I can teach and remain strong no matter the circumstances. It's the ultimate test.

I wish time would go faster. I'm tired of waiting; I want to meet her and for the female pack mates to stop with the sexual innuendos. I decided to hide on the 3rd-floor balcony until it was time for me to start preparing for the Ball; this way, I could clear my head between meeting my Luna and these threats that my father so recklessly invited into our pack. I'm a little on edge. But watching the sunset and the moon rise always settles me down.
