Darkness spread inside; it consume the light of a dream. It flash away the good memories of life, in the dull room, Daniel stand there. Daniel confusion was clear, this was different than last one, he knew this will be worst than usual. He hears whispers, saying unhealthy words, foul truths, and disturbing scenes. He barely breath to see his real terrors, it was no nightmare, it was an enemy, willing to rip the soul from Daniel, every single piece. He turned to see the big bad bear, red eyes stared down at him, stare into his soul of Determination. It widen their white, million teeth, greeting an unusual smile. It strike as Daniel screamed, he ran from it, running through bad memories.

Fredbear notice Daniel's sweat were dripping, and sweating uncontrollably, almost like a scene of an exorcism. Fredbear jump out, opening the door to find Toriel, he finds Toriel in her bedroom, looking at a photo with sadness. "Hey!" Fredbear whispered loudly but hid behind the door. "Who's there!?" Toriel asked, loudly. "Over here!" Fredbear whispered again, begins running to the children's room. Toriel followed, looking for the little voice. Then, saw a wave from the doorway of the children's room. She summon her blue fire, looking for the little person, once she went inside of the children's room, she notices Daniel's cries and struggles. "Angel Face?" Toriel asked, seeing Daniel in a night terrors mode. "Angel face! Wake up!" Toriel called, shaking Daniel to wake up. Soon, Daniel open his eyes as tears drip down, noticing Toriel in front of him. "Oh, my goodness! You're sweating! Are you alright?" Toriel asked, as Daniel begins to cry. Toriel picked up Daniel, taking him to the couch near the fireplace. Toriel went off to get a glass of water, as Daniel sat in the couch with a warm blanket on. "Here, Angel Face" Toriel replied, giving the glass to Daniel. Daniel grabbed the glass, start drinking it until it is empty, he place it on the couch next to him. "Did you have a bad dream?" Toriel asked, rubbed Daniel's head. Daniel didn't respond, fear of hurtled by Toriel's flames. "My child, I got to know" Toriel replied. Daniel decided to tell her, but in a lie. "I saw you...trying to kill me" Daniel replied. Toriel was feeling backstabbed but can see why he is so afraid. Toriel stays silent, thinking how to tell Daniel. "Angel Face, I may be overprotective, but that's because I loved you!" Toriel replied, hugged Daniel, patting his back. Daniel couldn't believe anyone anymore, he felt safer with Toriel but killed in the last reset. "O-Okay" Daniel replied, hugging back. After a long hug, Toriel takes the empty glass to the kitchen, carried Daniel back into his room. He snuggle into bed as Toriel picked up his teddy bear, giving it to him. "Goodnight, Angel Face" Toriel replied, about to shut the door. "Goodnight...mum" As soon she shut the door, felt of flattered rush in her cheeks, flashes. "He...called me...Mother" Toriel whispered, feeling a joy in the first time since forever. She went off, still feeling flattered.

Toriel sat down at the exit door of the Ruins, feeling of worries that these merciful children might get killed outside of the Ruins. Then, heard a knock and a male voice. "Knock, knock" Toriel startled to hear the other side, a friend. "Where have you been?" Toriel asked, the voice stays silent. "Knock, knock" The male voice reply. "Who is there?" Toriel asked, not in a mood. "Snow" He reply. "Snow who?" He reply. "Snow use, you wouldn't believe it even if I told you" He joked, causing Toriel to giggle. "Still mad?" He asked, hearing Toriel's giggles. "I...thought you were dead" It seems the male voice wasn't expecting that. "Heh...geez, lady. Thanks for the vote of confidence" He reply. "It has been weeks..." Toriel replied. "Yeah, guess I can't blame ya. You seriously wouldn't believe the week I have had, though. So, tell me about yours, instead" He replied. Toriel stays silent, knowing what has arrived. "Three humans has come to the Ruins" Toriel responded, which can hear the other side voice in shaken. "What!?" "Three children, they have friended a flower...And they slowly goes through the Ruins all by their own without my help" Toriel explained. "The flower...?" He asked, himself. "They have been showing...Mercy...in each and every monster" Toriel replied. "What?...that doesn't sound like what—" "It doesn't sound like what ASGORE says a human would do?" Toriel interrupted him. He went silent, thinking this. "Yeah...that" Then, the fit of anger rush into Toriel. "ASGORE WAS WRONG" "You can't say that out loud! My god!" The person outside panicked. Toriel turn her head away, in mad but still calm. "Heh...you're something else, lady. You really are his ex, huh?" He asked. Toriel blushed a bit with anger, then replied. "HMPH! Why? Because I speak the truth about him??" Toriel angrily asked, crossing her arms. "...well, yeah. No one else would DARE say that. Not about the king" He replied. Toriel sighs as she respond. "It was not always that way" Toriel replied. "Yeah, well that may be true...But that was a long...long...long...long...long..." Toriel gets irritated and rage, feeling of old. "LONG time ago." He replied. "Are you calling me old?" Toriel asked, getting bit mad. "Who, me?? Never." He replied, making jokes. "you are a cheeky ass, aren't you?" Toriel asked. "I'm a skeleton. I don't have an ass." He replied. Which reminded Toriel, made her blinked. "Oh...well, that is just disappointing" Toriel flirted. "WH—" It seems the other side were shaken and flustered by Toriel's response. Toriel roar in laughter, echoing the hall. "TORI!" He shouted in embarrassment. "PFFT—I am sorry, a little. I could not resist." Toriel replied, still giggling. "SORRY! I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE SOUND OF MY SHATTERED PRIDE!" He replied, still embarrassment. "Oh please. Don't be such a baby bones." Toriel replied. "You don't even know what that means..." He replied, getting better from embarrassment. "Of course, I do. You are not the first skeleton this old lady has ever met." Toriel replied. "You're not old" He said. "Thank you" Toriel replied. "...And I'm not a baby bones." He said. "Of course not" Toriel replied, giggling a bit. Toriel soon thought of the merciful children, wondering how to protect them. Then, she called out his real name. "Sans." Toriel called. Sans, heard Toriel. "Yeah?" Sans asked. "If the three humans ever comes through this door, could you please, please...promise me something...?" Toriel asked, as Sans listens. "Please...don't..." Toriel whispered the promise to Sans. Sans went quiet, then respond. "I...I promise" Sans replied.
