Ford POV (I know, shocking! But it was the only way I could think to write this. Don't get used to it though)
I was shocked at what I saw.
My nephew, coming in from the forest at 1 in the morning, covered in blood. I don't know what's worst, the fact that he probably just murdered something, or the fact that his grin, his smile, was so wide.
Has my nephew gone dark?
I mean.....
NO! I have to snap myself out of these thoughts. Dipper is a good kid. He helped us defeat Bill for gods sake! Yet, why was he in the forest at night? And why was he so happy?
Wait.... what if it was Dipper who had slain those gnomes? It is a possibility if this isn't his first time...killing. But still. He's Dipper. He couldn't hurt a fly. But still...
These thoughts wonder my mind as I lay down to sleep. Staying up all night won't do any good or help me figure this out.
In the morning
I have been awake for an hour now. Thoughts of Dipper and last night still cross my mind, but I have a more prominent issue. Although there is a high chance that the destruction of Bill's statue means his death, there also is a chance that it means his freedom. This is why I can't just go knocking down the statue.
However, if it is as I feared, than we are all under prepared for the wrath of Bill Cipher. By defeating him we embarrassed him. If he comes back he will be on a path of destruction. No survivors, no deals. Just death.
So, I made an education decision.
"Mabel?" I call out into my home. The young women comes rushing to me. I take a moment to smile at her. She has grown up so nicely, unlike Dipper. She is wonderful and respectful, nothing but kindness and happiness. If Bill comes back, I don't know how she'll handle another weirdmaggedon. That's why I have to stop it. Not just for the town, but for Mable. She deserves a nice life.
"Yes Grunkle Ford?" She asks sweetly.
"Mabel, could you go grab your brother? I need both of you for another mission."
"Yes Grunkle Ford!" Mabel replies, giving me a two fingered salute, followed by giggles as she runs off to get her brother.
I wait for a few minutes, but eventually the little Angel comes back. I take a glance at Dipper. He seems... normal. All hope that him being covered in blood was an accident, diminish. He would've been scared, but he seems fine. He's wearing his normal black jeans, and a white top with gray wording on the side. He has a sleeveless vest on.
"A-anything you need Grunkle Ford?" Dipper stutters. It takes me a minute to realize, but him stuttering is probably fake. I mean... if Dipper really is a malevolent being he is most likely trying to get us to like him. Trust him.
"Grunkle Ford?" Mabel's voice shakes me out of my thoughts, as I look back up at the twins.
"Ah yes! Sorry about that now. I have come to the conclusion, that even though most likely when the statue is destroyed Bill will also be destroyed," I swear I could see Dipper flinch at the mention of Bill being gone. " there still is the chance it might set him free. This is why, we need to get more prepared, just in case it happens. So I have decided that today we will be visiting the Unicorn's, to get some of their hair."
Mabel muttered something under her breath that only Dipper heard, making him laugh.
"What did you say Mabel?" I quarried, curious at what my grand niece commented.

FanficDipper snapped. When Mabel trusted Grunkle Stan more than him, he snapped. He had put up with so much of her *bullshit* that summer. Constantly sacrificing what he wanted to do, what he needed to do, for her. So it shouldn't come as a surprise that...
