The rest of the day was pretty chill. Since I had to wait for night to do anything, I simply just sat around the house. I bonded with Will more and learned about him and his world. Apparently there me went by Mason and was a Gleeful.
Finally, however, night came and I began to get ready. Pulling on my dark blue slacks, I then quickly buttoned up my dark blue shirt. Adjusting the silver vest, I stashed 20 daggers into various spots all around my person. Finally, I grabbed a holster and put my gun into it.
Emerging from the room Pyronica immediately wolf-whistled me.
"Dammmm Sapling. You can clean up very nice! Can't wait to see Bill see you in this!" She exclaimed, going back into the kitchen for her 10th cup of ice tea. I simply rolled my eyes at her statement, though I could feel a light blush beginning to form.
Quickly saying good-bye to both demons, I headed out deeper into the woods. First, I stopped at the statue. If everything went according to plan, Bill will be freed in a days time. If not then...
Glancing at the statue, it definitely looked run down. It seemed to have seeped deeper into the ground. Cracks were everywhere now, and one of the stone fingers looked as if it could snap off.
I rubbed the water forming at my eyes away, and trudged past the statue. It won't survive long. Bill won't survive long. The fact depleted me. If I failed.... I can't fail. I can't. I won't. The sad and bitterness soon turned to motivation as I stalked towards Ford's tree bunker. Once I arrived I knew I was dangerously close to the Shack, too close. But they wouldn't go looking for me. Exspacily not now.
Hitting the lever, I climbed down and down the stairs until I was met with the first room. The bomb shelter looked as bruised and battered as it had before. The bins of food were neatly stored to the side, however were covered in dust. With a quick glance I determined that there was no danger in this room and continued to the next section of the bunker.
The Security Room brought back memories as I avoided the main tile in the middle that would cause the walls to start closing in on me. This was one of Ford's better ideas. The panic from the closing in room would leave the occupant's mind in such an anxiety filled state that all thoughts of logic would be out the window, hence leading them to doom. However, this was one of Ford's earlier inventions, and his mind has only regressed over the time. He's such a stuck-up, 'I'm smarter than you' prick now and I can't stand it. Torturing him will be fun.
Moving away from this room I walk past the observation desk as I go to the laboratory. Glancing around I notice all of the different things in cryogenic status. However, I only had my eye on one thing in particular... and I found it.
He, or well I should say it, was still frozen in place. My 12 year old face of fear, forever frozen, would soon be released. I looked around for a bit before I decided to finally give the creature what it deserved.
Pressing the button, the cryogenic freezer slowly begins to defrost and the shape shifter starts to twitch it's fingers. It steps out of the freezer once it is able too and just stands there. Finally, it seems to glance up at me.
"Dipper Pines..." it's icy voice calls out. I simply snort and take out a dagger. Throwing it at the beast, it dodges it quickly and lunges at me. I react fastly, throwing a powerful punch at the creature sending it a few feet away from me on the ground. It begins to take another shape but I stop it.
"What? Too afraid to face me as you are? Come on coward, show me who you are." My taunting gets the beast up and as soon as it's standing, it launches themselves at me again. It begins to claw at me with it's left hand, but I block it with my dagger. We go at this for a minute, them swiping at me and me blocking their attacks. Finally, I land a good swing and my dagger impales itself in the white slimy skin. Pale blue-ish gray blood seeps out of the wound and the creature lets out a shriek. Filled with rage they go to bite me, their 4 fangs bared. As the snout goes towards my shoulder, I drop down to the ground, making the Shape Shifter stumble. Using my leg, I kick the back leg of the Shape Shifter sending them to the ground.
