It's been a hot minute since I've written anything (even though it's been two days lol) and I might release multiple chapters between these days, because I had a sudden surge of insPiRatiOn from just standing in the shower for thirty minutes (woop woop!) . So buckle up, it's kusokawa's mass release, man I feel like Scott Cawthon when he released 5 books in the span of a few months lol. Art not mine, enjoy! Atsumu's POV

"Atsumu-san!" I hear Shoyo-kun say loudly as he excitedly waves his hand up in the air. I blush a bit but shake it off as he walks towards me.

"Woah Shoyo-kun are you okay? You're sweating." I say as I notice beads of sweat trickling down his face. He gets a towel and wipes the sweat off and puts it inside his pocket along with his earphones.

"Ah! It's because I ran here, I actually ran into Kageyama-kun and we jogged together, I asked him to come with us but he said no, that's sad he'll miss out on all the food we are trying!" He says as he fixes his shirt.

" Ah...is that so. Anyways, wanna get some coffee now?" I ask as he nods in agreement and we step into the store.

"Ahaaaa.....it smells so good here! It smells like vanilla!" (Lmao smellfetish Hinata I'm so sorry-) Shoyo-kun said as he exhales with smile.

"Of course Shoyo-kun, this is a cafe. Anyways, whatcha wanna order?" I say as he looks up at me with a warm smile.

"I'll order whatever you want to order Atsumu-san!" He says, his smile beaming at me. It always manages to melt my heart whenever he smiles like that.

"U-Uh sure Hina- i mean Shoyo-kun. Y-yeah sure." I stutter as I blush brightly. He then shoots me another smile as he goes to look for seats. Realizing how stupid I looked I regained my composure and walked up to the counter to order.

'I'm so lucky that I got to ask Shoyo-kun out on a date! Good job Tsumu, ya outdone your own expecta-'

"Umm, excuse me sir. Are you ready to order?" The lady said snapping me out of my thoughts. I say my order and she writes it down.

'I'm just hoping he likes a classic cup of coffee, or else I screwed mah self up' I thought as I leaned over the counter. I look over and make eye contact with Shoyo-kun.

I decide to tease him as I wink with a sly smirk on my face. He blushes brightly as he averts his eyes away, which is so cute not gonna lie.

I was lucky to be able to ask Shoyo-kun out on a date, bold move I know. But for all I know I might be the only one who managed to ask him out. (No Atsumu, Oikawa asked Hinata out for dinner and spent the New Year's with him in Brazil. So no, Oikawa has the guts to ask him you selfcenter-)

I met him in my 2nd year of highschool at Inarizaki High. He was a very....interesting person. He had lightning speed reflexes and could spike at a higher height than most players. He intrigued me for some reason....

// Flashback to 4 years earlier at the Nationals // (details are blurry because I procrastinated for so long)

I heard the referee whistle. It's over, it's all over. I felt like crying until I received a pat to the back by Kita-san.

"You did great today. I'm proud of you." He says as he keeps walking forward. I then start tearing up as I see the mesmerized faces of my teammates. Praise coming from someone who doesn't sugarcoat things is amazing to feel.
