Part 10: im yours

I told my parents about my sisters death they were really devastated but they had to keep going, my little sister confessed that she felt bad and she was sad but she didnt even bother to come to her funeral.

It was a few more days before the exam starts. I was studying in the dining room while eating the tiramisu cake mark bought me every week, i was so focused i didnt realized that mark was home from visiting his mother.

"boo!" i startled and slapped his shoulder jokingly

"yah! You scared me, im trying to study so i wont fail!" i said it in an annoyed tone but at the same time it was also a jokingly tone.

"you should get some rest y/n..." he looked at me worried

"you've been mourning your sisters death and started studying too hard, seeing you makes me worried sick so please take a rest"

hearing marks confession made me realized that he was right for once i needed to stop being too hard on myself, i sighed.

"okay i'll try...oh, i bought you watermelon this morning" his face lightend up and started smiling like crazy

"thank you baby you're the best" he kissed my forehead and went to the kitchen, i smiled knowing that im so lucky to have him.

I cleaned the dishes after mark ate so many slices of watermelons, he was watching the tv. I finished cleaning and went straight to the bedroom
I layed down and opened my phone...ever since my sister died, my friends sent me a lot of positive and supporting messages so i read all of it again.

Mark came in the room and layed down beside me
"y/n"
I looked at him waiting for him to continue on what he was saying.

"if i was a worm would you still date me?" i choked hearing his questions
He widened his eyes and rubbed my back.

"bro what kind of question is that?!" i laughed while holding my stomach because it was funny, he laughed too and hugged me.

"of course i would still date you, i'll keep you safe so no one will step on you" i said to him while smiling

After a while we just cuddled while listening to songs.

"well you done done me and you bet I felt it i tried to be chill but you're so hot that i melted i fell right through the cracks and now Im trying to get back"

A song by Jason Mraz started playing,
"before the cool done run out i'll be giving it my best-est" mark sang that part while carressing my hair

"and nothings going to stop me but divine intervention i reckon it's again my turn" he kept singing and i swear my ears was blessed by him so i decided to look at him and sang
"to win some or learn some"

Mark looked at me smiling and kissed my forehead, he continued singing
"but i wont hesitate no more no more it cannot wait..."

"im yours"

We sang that part together. I kissed his lips and went back to cuddling him.

Skip to after the exams

We finished the exams and a lot of people were volunteering to be the prom king and queen
To be honest i really wanted to join but i wasnt very confident on my looks or body.

I was walking trough the hallway and mei was walking past by me
"hey slut how are you pulling up?"

"why do you care?"

"i heard that your sister died, my cousin was your sisters friend"

"oh...cool, i ment sorry"

"dont say sorry, i dont even care we arent that close but there were rumors that your first niece wasnt your actual niece"

I was shocked at her statement, how could she say that about my niece and if it wouldve been true why wasnt she my actual niece? Wheres the real one then?

"look y/n im rich and my dad has police friends so i got an information that your sisters boyfriend is a psycho and killed her, she actually just got home from giving birth to her second child so she didnt died while being pregnant. The baby was taken care of your little sister and about your niece...two years ago there was a nurse that had mental disorder so she took your niece and switched it with the baby who was about to be aborted. Thanks to her the baby that was gonna be aborted was saved by your sister and now is living her life with another family, my dad said the police were going to find your actual niece and give it to you so thanks to me you now have a lot of information"

Wow...she is actually a good listener, but i didnt care about that all i care now is trying to find my actual niece

I thanked her and went to find mark, he was volunteering for the prom king so i ran to him and grabbed his arms and brought him to an empty class. Mark was looking confused so i catch my breath and explained to him everything

At first mark didnt believe it because it was mei who told all of the information but i trusted her so he trusted me

"okay...we're gonna find her, we're gonna get trough this together" mark said with a concerned look, i hugged him and went outside

We were walking while holding hands all of a sudden i feel really dizzy but i didnt had the suicide scene again which was weird, why did i get dizzy for?

"are you okay?" mark asked me worriedly
"yea im-" i stopped my sentences and closed my mouth

Mark widened his eyes looking very worried, i immediately ran to the girls bathroom and puked...i was feeling really weak and i didnt know what to do

Mark didnt care that it was a girls bathroom so he searched for me
"y/n!"
He went to me and held me, i was really weak and my vision started to get blurry and after a few seconds

Everything turned black
