fear was settling in, why the fuck was he here, "how does he know where i live" james asked confused as he went to the door, "be careful" i told him. my stepdad had a temper.
"hi sir" James smiled as he opened the door coming face to face with him, not even acknowledging James presence, he pushed right past him and tumbled towards me. grabbing my arm aggressively.
"your fucking mother was worried sick, why the hell didn't you call" he grunted at me.
before I could blink, James had pulled me away from him & looked as if he were ready to attack.
"you're lucky i don't fucking bust your face in for keeping her here", "ill be 18 soon, so it doesn't matter what I do" I told him finally speaking up.
"so your gonna prance around town like a little whore once your old enough" before i knew it james was yelling at him & knowing the temper my stepdad had, I couldn't let it escalate.
"leave. ill be over to get my stuff later"
"I'm so sorry james" I whisper, as tears welled in my eyes, "sunny, it's not your fault, it's okay"
