Lydia was breathing heavy having second thoughts about the road trip. Stiles was awkwardly driving but trying to keep his eyes on Lydia. Lydia closed her eyes and breathed. Finally Stiles broke the silence, “Look, I know there is something wrong. Just tell me so I can help you, you know I’m always here for you.” Lydia head snapped over to look at Stiles and sadness took over her face and tears started to spring to her eyes.

“You, you are always there for me? Where in the hell were you Stiles huh? You left me when I needed you the most!” Lydia said as her lips quivered. “When I lost Allison I didn’t expect to lose you too.” Lydia said as she finally broke down. Stiles just looked at her and back to the road in shock and sadness.  Lydia finally gathered herself and didn’t say anything for 15 minutes until finally Stiles got out the car for gas.

Once everything was done, Stiles got back in the car and started heading towards the forest, where Scott was waiting for them.

“Stiles I have to tell you something.” Lydia said to him. Stiles tightened his hands on the steering wheel.

“Yeah well, I have to tell you something too. Stiles took a deep breathe.

“I’m in love with you Stiles, that’s why I get so emotional.” Lydia blurted out.

“I had sex with Malia.” Stiles said. They both said their secrets at the same time, but heard each other clearly. Lydia’s face was stone dead; she didn’t say anything for a few minutes. Stiles was rambling on how he was sorry.

“Stop the car.” Lydia told him.

“I can’t do that.” Stiles said guiding the wheel.

“Stop the car!” Lydia shouted as she lunged for the wheel. Stiles tried to fight Lydia off but couldn’t. They lost control and crashed into a tree. All the cars stopped and many hurried to help the people in the blue jeep. Stiles blinked but it was blurry, he could see Lydia lying forward with blood coming from her head.

“Lydia! Lydia!” Stiles screamed. “Lydia!” Ambulances and sirens were everywhere, and that’s when Stiles made the phone call.

Stiles was outside of Lydia’s hospital room, waiting. He looked up as he heard footsteps and could see Scott running his way. Stiles stood up, grabbing onto his jeans that has blood stains on them.

“Are you okay?” Scott asked out of breathe. Stiles nodded. “What did you do?” Scott asked. Stiles just looked at the ground because he didn’t know what to say.

“She’s fine,” Stiles said trying to calm Scott down.

“You’re lying!” Scott growled at him. Stiles was taken back and stumbled backwards a little. Scott looked Stiles up and down and opened the door to Lydia’s room and slammed it behind him. Stiles sat down on the cold blue chairs and rubbed his face from frustration. Scott opened the door at the moment and Stiles took the opportunity to walk into the room. Lydia was pale; she had marks and bruises all over her body. Stiles couldn’t handle it and tears rolled down his face.

“You have to change her Scott.” Stiles said as his voice cracked.

“No, I can’t. Stiles what are you thinking I can’t.” Scott told him. Stiles picked dup the clip board and looked directly at it.

“She’s going to die Scott! If you don’t, she’s going to die!” Stiles shouted as he studied to clipboard of notes they had of Lydia. “Please, she’s not going to make it if you don’t.”
