One week has gone by and Lydia has made no progress. Allison hasn’t been to school that week at all, but if her mother was right, today was the day that she was going to make Allison her best friend again. Lydia stood at her locker with Jackson, both of them waiting to see if Allison would show up. And as if on cue there she was walking on through the doors. Everyone stopped what they were doing and stared, they all had thought Allison was dead and now here she was. Just as quick, everyone started to murmur and Allison put her head down and walked to her locker, her old locker. Lydia looked at Jackson and walked off, and he waited to see the reaction.

“I like your jacket.” Lydia said as she walked up to Allison. Allison looked at her and smiled, showing her amazingly perfect dimple.

“Thank you, my dad got it for me when he went to France this summer. He said he never expected me to wear it. Who knows what he means by that, but we know a man who owns a lot of the boutique stores there.” Allison said smiling even bigger. Lydia smiled; this was almost exactly how they met the first time.

“I think you are now my new best friend.” Lydia said giggling making Allison giggle as well. Jackson walked up and put his hand around Lydia’s shoulder. “Oh, my name is Lydia Martin by the way and this is Jackson Whittemore.”

“Oh, my name is Allison...Allison Argent.” She giggled. “I don’t want to sound weird, but you were the girl that was with that boy when they found me. And you were there too.” Allison said looking at Lydia then Jackson. Lydia smiled a bit and so did Jackson.

“Yeah, um I…So what’s your schedule?” Lydia said pointing to the paper in Allison’s hand and Allison immediately showed it to her. “That’s nice; we have a lot of the same classes. I can show you around.” Lydia said. Allison smiled and just nodded.  Lydia spent the day with Allison and they talked like they haven’t missed a beat, Jackson took off to lacrosse practice and Allison stayed, just like before.

“So, you and Jackson are dating?” Allison asked with a smile on her face. Lydia looked up at her and smiled.

“No, um we are actually just really good friends. We grew up with each other.” Lydia said looking over at Jackson who had just shot a goal. Lydia clapped, “Good Job Jackson!” she shouted. Allison giggled.

“What about that guy?” Allison asked as she pointed to Stiles who was looking over at them. Stiles saw Allison pointing and spun around, looking around as if he wasn’t staring. Lydia laughed.

“That’s Stiles Stilinski; he is best friends with the team captain of the lacrosse team. “ Lydia said, looking over at Allison who was analyzing Stiles. “He’s a good friend as well, but I didn’t start talking to him until freshmen year. He’s a great guy; I mean he has always been there for me even though I didn’t know that at the time.” Lydia said smiling.

                “Who’s the captain?” Allison asked.

“Scott…Scott McCall. He’s the guy that was holding you when you woke up.” Lydia said, looking at Allison who turned towards her. Allison was searching Lydia's eyes, she knew that boy had to do something with her past.

“Where is he?” Allison asked turning back to the field and scanning it.

“Oh, um, he is at his dad’s for a few weeks.” Lydia said. Allison just nodded and smiled a dissapointed smile. They watched practice for the rest of the time in silence and when it was done they went their separate ways. Lydia climbed into Jackson’s car and Stiles ran to her window.

“How did it go?” Stiles asked.

“Amazing, everything seemed the same. The only thing was I had to inform her on some things but it was great.” Lydia said smiling widely. Stiles smiled.

“And, what about Scott?” Stiles asked. Lydia sighed.

“I need to earn her trust before I throw everything at her, but don’t worry it'll be soon.” Lydia said as Jackson turned on the car. “I need to go, see you tomorrow.” Lydia said as Stiles leaned back. Stiles waved and walked to his jeep and went home.

Lydia and Jackson went up to her room and sat down, starting their homework. Of course, Lydia was zooming pass it; math had always been a subject that she understood with ease. Jackson made his way through his homework but at a much slower pace. Lydia listened to music, while Jackson finished up and once he was done he closed his book shut and looked at her with a smile.

“You always were good at math, hell you’re excellent in every subject.” Jackson said with a smirk. Lydia looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

“What?” Lydia asked astonished. Jackson smile grew even wider and he chuckled.

“I know you think I didn’t notice when we would do our homework together how you would zoom pass a problem and then look over to see where I was. I noticed how you would slow down just to keep the same pace as me, then you would put on  blank face and ask me questions even though you already knew how to solve the problem in your sleep.” Jackson said. Lydia was dumbfounded.

“Why didn’t you ever mention this?” Lydia asked. Jackson shrugged.

“I didn’t want to blow your cover; I thought that’s what you wanted. Look I know I was a bad person, but I’ve changed.” Jackson said with a complete series face.

“I know you have.” Lydia said tilting his chin to face him. It was true; as soon as Lydia saw Jackson she saw the change in him. His eyes were softer, his smile wider, his posture more confident. She saw the Jackson she knew as a kid before he changed.

“I’m sorry for everything I put you through.” Jackson said. Lydia just shook her head and kissed him. Jackson didn’t kiss back, but then she felt his lips fall perfectly in sync with hers. She smiled through the kiss and so did Jackson. They pulled away and Lydia got off her bed and sat by him as he put his arm around her. Lydia smiled, she missed this. It was comfortable, and she knew she had strong feelings for Jackson, but she still doesn’t know how she felt about Stiles, all she knew was that this moment felt right to her.
