We set off early the next morning, hoping we could reach the Great Plains of Death and Shadows. We left the perfect waterfall behind, and its bathing spots. I sighed knowing the walk would be long if we were to reach it by nightfall.
"Should we run thrugh this part of the forest. The last time my tribe was here many died of poisoning and starvation."
His voice interupted my thoughts, and I snapped my head up. "Huh?"
"I agree with William, this is a dangerous forest part. Plus look at the sky. Darkness means rain, and rain means wetness and maybe even injuries. The open plains would be best in case of burning flames." She pointed to the dreary sky.
"Yeah, that sounds good." I answered sighing. "Come on, let's pick it up a pace." I started running, before they could keep jabering.
"Wait up Sabby!" Ziyraa quickly started hustiling to catch up, with William right behind her. I kept running, with the weight of my weapons slinging onto my shoulder. I felt a slight burn as it dug into my skin, but I didnt care.
Royale slowly gained on me, and Ziyraa's long legs helped her gain space between us. William was slower, but he kept a steady pace with Mikalina.
Sadly Jharonku was slower and he was falling behind. Jharonku tried to go faster, and he was slowly gaining on William.
I looked forward again, and dodged to the left to avoid a giant tree. I dodged left and right, picking up my feet around the roots.
The trees started to thin out slowly, and the mossy leaf strewn ground turned into stubby short grass. My breath started to grow shallow and quick., and I started to slow down. Royale was already slowed down behind me, and I slowed down to meet him.
The others quickly joined me, and I slowed down even more to a walk. My legs burned, along with my throat, my arms, and my head.

*BOOM!*
I winced as another round of strikes and booms went off.
The six of us were cuddled up together to stay warm. We had multiple fur blankets wrapped around me. Royale was layed over my legs, keeping me warm. The rain slacked over my hair, and fell down my back. I felt the freezing wind ruffle my hair. I wished the small tree gave us more shelter. Mud formed under my feet, and I tried to balance on the balls of my feet.
It soaked right through my shoes and sponged my feet. I sighed as the rain kept falling to no end.
"When will this ever end!" Ziyraa groaned.
I nodded, and shied even farther away from rain, and closer to Ziyraa.
"Should we try to sleep through this?" Willilam asked us, his eyes already closed.
"I guess you have a good point." I closed my eyes, and balled up closer to myself. As fast as the rain fell on me, a wave of sleep washed over me.

Hey guys, this is basically a chapter on how they get to the plains.
I do have writers block, so don't judge my crappy ass chapters.
I dedicated this chapter to @beawaller
