interview pt.2

(this is gonna be billie's first time at coachella but pretend she's 18)

*billie's pov*

today was the first day of coachella and
i was pumped! i was really excited to preform and i couldn't wait to see other artists. i was currently in my room getting ready and listening to music when finneas comes storming into my room

"hey bil, have you heard of that new artist marley jones"  he asked me while sitting on the bed

turning the music down i turn to him,
"who?"

"her name is marley jones. she's a new artist, i keep getting tagged in a interview she was in. i noticed you were too so i watched it and bro, you should check it out" he smiled

"have you listened to any of her music?" i asked

"no, but we should! turn it on"

grabbing my phone i went to spotify and typed her name in. turns out, she was new but she already had a good following. she must really be good then! playing shuffle play we both sit back on my bed and let the music play.

as soon as the music started and i heard the bass, i instantly feel in love with it! if you know me, you know i love bass!  i looked at fin with wide eyes and he did the same, she was great! through out the songs we shared glances and a few smiles or we both ended up nodding our heads to the beat. this girl was something else, and her voice was amazing!

"well damn!" i laughed when the music was over

"this girl got talent" finneas shook his head, amazed

"she's gonna be big, i can already tell" i smiled

"oh for sure"

"what's the name of the interview she did?" i asked him

"um idk but it's with zach" is all he said while getting up

"i'm gonna check it out, go finish getting ready"

"alright" he smiled and walked out

going to youtube i typed in 'marley jones interview' and zach's was the first to pop up. clicking it, the first thing i noticed was that she was actually really pretty, like shiiit! more into the video i noticed they talked about who her favorite artist was and she said me. that was surprising! but i also saw her tear up when she was talking about her past, she went through a lot! and hearing her say that i was the reason she was still breathing made me tear up as well, happy she stayed strong. i laughed when i heard she didn't wanna meet me because she didn't know how she'd act or if she'd be able to handle it, i felt the same way about bieber.

i wanted to meet her though, to tell her thank you for staying strong! and for liking and letting my music help her through everything. i know she said she didn't wanna meet me but not completely she said 'yes and no'. so i wanna surprise her at coachella

after i finished getting ready, i went to tell my family the plan. we all gathered in the living room and i told them what i wanted to do. my parents had no clue who she was so me and fin showed them the interview

"that poor girl! she's very strong" my mom frowned

"i know, i couldn't imagine going through  all that" i shook my head

"i think the surprise is a great idea" my dad said smiling at me

"yeah, she deserves it!" fin chanted and mom agreed

"alright, we can surprise her tomorrow" i explained

"sounds good. but we gotta go, we got to make sure everything is set and you gotta do soundcheck before people start to show" my dad told all of us. we all got into our van and went to coachella!

*a handful of hours later*

all day i've been watching all of my favorite artists preform and goof off with fin. i haven't seen marley here today but that's ok. thinking about her possibly avoiding me made me laugh! i'll see her tomorrow though, which i'm actually excited for! she's been through a lot and the least i can do is be there for her. this industry can tear people apart and destroy them, and i'm gonna make sure i protect her from all of that!

it was finally my turn to preform and i was excited because it was my first time! and throughout the whole show the energy was crazy, everyone just had a good time. and just like at the show, the rest of the night was filled with good vibes and smiles!

tomorrow was gonna be fun!
