i'm kinda nervous but more excited than anything. no one in the family has heard me sing before. i just never did because we already have two singers who are amazing, we don't need to hear me sing too! but i've been writing this song for the past couple weeks now and i finally finished it.

i asked fin to help me because 1) he's a great songwriter so he can help fix the song if needed 2) he can play the guitar and 3) he's like a big brother to me so why not?

grabbing my notebook and phone, i head to my car and drive to finneas'. his house is only like 10 minutes from mine and billie's. parking my car, i can see fin and claudia waiting by the door with peaches running around the yard.

smiling, i slightly jog towards them and run into a group hug.

"hi guys!" i cheer pulling away from the hug

"hey leila, we missed you!" claudia smiles sweetly

"i missed you guys too. it's been awhile since we've all hung out" i reply

"you ready?" finneas questions leading the 3 of us into the house

"mhm" i hum while taking a deep breathe

"alrighty, let's go!" finneas chants turning to go to his studio, me following him

"good luck leila!" claudia yells from somewhere in the house
