Chapter 22:Escape

"Oh my god,you look perfect!"Carla look at me with pure amazement.

I chuckled," Thank you,"

I stare at my reflection in a huge mirror.I can see myself and I didn't expect that the gown will really suit me perfectly.Plus,Carla really did everything to make me look more better tonight.

I smiled.He braid my hair loosely,reason why my bangs is down but parted in the middle.My make up is just simple which only defined my features good.I swayed myself a little bit and giggled.I can't say anything but the gown looks so good at me!

"You sure you don't want to enter showbiz industry or a modeling company?" Carla asked.

He was busy taking shots of me.Hindi nalang ako umangal at bahagya pang nag post sa harap niya.Mom is really good when it comes to things like this.Sure,Carla Diomerez is a famous make up artist pero hindi ko inaasahan na malaki ang magbabago sa mukha ko!

I shook my head at him,"No."

I stared at my reflection again.Should I take a picture of myself too and send it to Arrow?

Carla sighed and look at me again.Umiling iling siya sa akin pero nakangiti pa rin.

"Sayang." He said.

I chuckled.Honestly,I am excited while he's doing his job at me but when he declared that I'm done,I felt the sudden bang of nervous in me.

Maybe,because in just a few moment,my party will start.And which also means that I will face a lot of people.Not just my friends and schoolmates but also friends and business partners of my parents.I have not been this nervous in my entire life.Pero minsan,baka ganito talaga kapag tutungtong ka na sa legal na edad.

Kung hindi excited,kabado naman.

My phone suddenly rung.Bumaling ako sa tukador na nasa gilid namin at tinignan iyon.My heart hammered when I saw his name registered on it.

I was about to walk and get my phone but Carla move.Siya na mismo ang kumuha noon at nakangising inabot sa akin.

I gulped.I know what he's thinking.Kanina lang habang inaayusan niya ako ay alam kong napapansin niya ang pagiging abala ko sa cellphone kanina.Paano ba naman kasi,minu-minutong nag tetext si Arrow sa akin.Greeting me countlessly and insisting about just coming here at my party and not attend their family dinner instead.

Sa huli,ay ako din naman ang nasunod sa aming dalawa.I even said that its my birthday so my decision wins.We decided to just meet each other in the coffee shop later after my party or after their family dinner.

"Go and answer it.I'll just use your CR." Carla said and winked at me.

Humalakhak ako at napatango nalang sakaniya.Pinagmasdan ko pa ang pagpunta niya sa bathroom at nang masarado na niya ang pintuan ay bumaling na muli ako sa cellphone ko.

I heaved a sighed and smiled.Just by staring at his name on my phone can make me less in nervous.He really made me feel all this things without him noticing it.

I cleared my throat and answer his call.Marahan kong itinapat iyon sa aking tenga at tumingin muli sa repleksyon ko sa salamin.I smiled at myself and winked playfully.

"Hey..." He started.

Napaayos ako ng tayo dahil sa boses niya.I bit my lowerlip and stare more at myself.

"Hi," I said.

He chuckled in the other line.My brows furrowed a bit.Tahimik na tahimik sa kabilang linya at ganoon din sa akin.

"Your party is not yet starting?" He asked.

I shrugged my shoulders and slightly crinkled my nose.Carla is really good.He made my small nose more pointed and defined.
