"So what's a young guy like you, doing at my house at almost eleven thirty pm?" Gina asks Ricky, who was just sitting on her couch.
"Well, I kinda just found out something personal, and I-I really had no idea where to go, so I just came here...I can leave if you want me to-" His rambling was cut off by Gina. "It's fine, my mom took the night shift at work, so your fine here." Ricky nodded.
"If you don't mind me asking, what's the personal problem." She asked nervously. "Well I am in your house..." He continued, "My mom came home today and w-well I just found out my parents are getting a divorce." Gina's eyes widen.
She engulfed Ricky in a hug. "Well I'm glad you came too me for me too help you." Ricky's phone went off. He noticed a bunch of messages from his friends and family. He notices Nini's message. "Can I take a call quick?" Gina nodded and left the living room.
"Nini?" He heard a sigh of relief from the other side of the call.
"Ricky, are you okay? I got a call from your parents saying you left home, why?" Ricky went quiet. "I kinda don't wanna talk about it." "Okay well, just please come home or just come to my place."
"I can't..." "Why?" Ricky sighed. "I'm sorry Nini, but I don't really wanna see my parents right now-" She cut him off. "Then come to my place." "Nini I know you, your gonna try and fix the problem and I'm not really in the mood for your nosy side of your personality." He sassed.
"Ricky-" He cut her off. "No Nini, your stubborn side is showing and I-I just can't, your gonna just call my parents over to your house or something so they can pick me up, I just can't trust you right now."
"Ricky, you okay." Gina came into the room. Nini scoffed. "So you can't trust a person you've known your whole life but you can trust a girl you just became friends with?" Ricky tried to respond but Nini hung up.
"I'm sorry I kinda eavesdropped a little, but Ricky don't you think you were being a little harsh?" Ricky shook his head. "I know Nini, she's gonna try and fix a non-fixable problem and I'm not in the mood."

Nini felt a tear fall from her eye but she quickly wiped it. She knew Ricky was obviously going through a hard time, but he called her nosy, stubborn, and said he couldn't trust her.
Her phone began to ring and she saw it was Kourtney. She just ignored it. Nini already told Ricky's parent's that he was safe and they didn't have to worry.
What hurt Nini more, was that he trusted Gina more than her. Her moms called her from downstairs but she just ignored them and pretended to just be asleep so her moms would stop calling her name.
She didn't even realize that she already fell asleep and the next thing she knew her alarm was going off.
Nini did not wanna go to school but she didn't want her attendance to be ruin because the love of her life just said some negative things to her. She got dressed and went downstairs.
"Hey, you okay?" Nini just nodded. She grabbed an apple and walked out the door ignoring the strange looks from her moms.
"Nini!" Nini slightly jumped. She looked across the street and saw Kourtney running towards her. "I called you yesterday, lover boy went missing yesterday..." She said. "He's fine." Kourtney was slightly surprised at her short answer.
"What's wrong, last time you seemed this depressed lover boy didn't say the l word back." Nini cringed at the old memory. Nini just told Kourtney about everything that happened last night and poured her heart out.
"That brat!" Kourtney yelled. "I don't care what he's going through, he just hurt my best friend's heart so now I'm gonna have to break hi-" Nini cut her off. "Kourt, it's fine." "Don't worry, If I can't injure him, I'll make sure his Troy outfits have a hole in it." Nini cracked a smile.
"It's fine it's not like he's coming to school today, if something really bad happened he wouldn't show up-" Nini cut herself off. She paused when her and Kourtney were near the entrance of the school and she saw Ricky Bowen talking to Gina and Big red.
