"Hey donut" I heard my best friend, Kara coming in.
"Hey, you back?" I ask as I notice that her shift ended. I didn't realise it was this late.
"Yeah- you remember that I'm moving out tomorrow, right? You still gotta sort out the stuff you wanna keep"
"Yeah yeah- I'll do that- i found a new roommate by the way" i said trying my best to sound excited
"You did? Who is it!!"
"I haven't met her, her name is Elizabeth though" i told her, smiling at the name.
"You miss her, don't you? I see how you smile at the name" she asked me even though she knew the answer
"I do- you know that- and that I can't go back now" i said.
"Well,the roommate thingy is good- you won't be as lost as you will be when you're alone" she chuckled
"Yah!! I'm not always lost" i said while trying not to laugh, she wasn't wrong as she knew better than anyone "C'mom lets make some food- I'm starving" i continued
