Forever and ever

Chapter 9

Elizabeth
When she was talking about her best friend and lover, I finally noticed who she was. She was my Kate. I got so angry on her and left right away. I didn't regret leaving her. If she was still the Kate i knew, she would come back for me. I had seen a glimpse of the past her when she was punching Ronnie. The way she would be ready to hurt every person who she would think had hurt me.
Flashback
Kate and i were walking in the park near our house and the childish Kate she was, she playfully pushed me off the path. It was harder than we both anticipated. I lost my balance and braced for impact as I thought i was falling. But then i felt a hand grab mine and an strong but gentle arm wound around my waist as i was pulled up. I opened my eyes and saw the beautiful face i wish to wake up to every morning. She was holding me up, close to her with her arm around my waist and her hand in mine. We were impossibly close and I realised that my foot was on her foot. She was looking me in the eye, a sly smile on her face. I grinned at her which brought her back to reality. She quickly placed me back on my feet which were now on the ground and not on her foot. She cleared her throat and looked down, blushing. After a short pause she said
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to push you so hard" as she slapped herself. I laughed at her reaction
Flashback ended

I smiled at the memory . I was so happy to be with her. I loved her.
You still love her I cried harder at the thought. I had fell for her again. I entered the house and locked it. I started walking around the house just thinking about her. After 5 mins i heard her try to open the door. She had used her keys but i had locked the other lock as well . You can't open the lock even with a key. I didn't open the gate and continued walking. I then sat on the couch. After around 35 minutes i tried to stand up but i lost my footing. There was a loud thump as i landed on my butt. My leg hit the couch as a yelp left my mouth.
