Your POV

The cold London air nipped at me exposed skin causing me to shiver, I adjusted my school bag on my shoulder and maneuvered the zipper on my jacket higher in attempts to keep the warmth inside. It was another boring day as I walked to the bus stop on my way to school, school I hated school and couldn't wait to graduate. I felt like I was a zombie, simply going through the motions day in and day out but never really being happy. My one was missing that spark but I of course couldn't tell my parents, they'd think I was crazy or something. Not like they cared anyway, they were just like me. Going through the motions and not really exploring what made them happy, I loved my parents but I knew I didn't want to end up like them. Married to someone I might love and living a boring life, I longed for passion. I longed for someone to put the color back in my life that was drained, until then I guess I would do what I had to do. Go to school and reach my ultimate goal of becoming a teacher. I saw the bus slow down at my stop and I picked up my pace to a jog, I couldn't miss this bus if I did I would miss my first class and my teacher would kill me. I needed a car desperately, getting to Uni was hard and took forever. I knew if  had one it would be easier.

"Morning Y/n", the bus driver Tom greeted me. I had been taking the same bus for a year and Tom was super sweet to wait for me when I was late.

"Morning, how's Melissa and Angela", I asked about his wife and kid.

"Great! Angela took her first steps yesterday", he smiled proudly.

"That's wonderful, give them my regards", I smiled and headed back to my seat.

Once I was safely in my seat the bus began to move to the other stops, picking up people who were doing the exact same thing I was. Going to school or work, going through the daily motions without a single thought. I looked around at the array of people, different ages and genders wondering what they did in their free time. Well whatever it was it probably was better then what I was doing, which was nothing. I rested my head back to my seat and shut my eyes, it would be quite a while before I got to Uni might as well catch up on much needed sleep.
