Your POVI smiled at Harry as he and my father cooked over the grill, the lovely scent of roasted vegetables and my favorite fish filled the air as I stood at the back for watching them. My ring that Harry had given me was glistening in the sunlight, I was genuinely happy with where we had ended up. Once we broke the news to my parents and his, we were able to begin a new chapter in our lives. I couldn't wait to become his wife but it was on hold for a bit until he finished a commission painting that would only further his career as an artist. We still had the same ironing passion and love, confirming to me that maybe we were meant to be.
"You made a good choice", my mom whispered in my ear.
"Do you really think so? I mean after what happened, did you think I made the right choice in being engaged to him", I looked over at her.
"Yes, because despite what he did he gave you space and then he came back to you. Believe in what you want but he was brought back to you", she smiled at me.
"Are you ready for dinner ladies", Harry's mom Anne smiled at us.
"Yes", we answered in unison and joined the boys outside.
We all settled around the table, Harry plopping down next to me. He kissed me deeply and gave me a dazzling smile making my panties wet. I had to contain myself, half of me loved having our family around me and the other half wanted to drag him up to our room lock him there and keep him there for four days straight. Either way I was happy, happy we had met the way we did and that we were together now. Happy that we were going to start the rest of our lives together. I don't regret a single thing and would do everything all over again. He was my soulmate, my other half, and the love my life.
