Your POV

Once the check was set down, Elijah insisted in paying it and set down the money to cover the bill and check. We left the restaurant hand in hand, he walked me to my home slowly so we could have a few more minutes to talk. He was so sweet but yet again there was nothing there, no passion or spark. He was lovely yes but that nagging feeling of the spark wasn't there and was eating me alive. I pushed it aside as we walked to a cinema not far from the where the cafe was, he had insisted on taking me to see an independent movie he absolutely raved about. Not wanting the night to end early I agreed and was also eager to see this movie he was talking about. As my eyes stayed glued to the screen I jumped when I felt his large hand place itself on my thigh, my eyes finally flickered over to him just in time to see him lean over and kiss me. He tried to deepen the kiss but I pulled away and gave him a shy smile, he subtly got the hint pulling away and leaning back into his seat t watch the movie.

"So I had a good time, maybe we could do this again", Elijah stood with me on my front porch.

He didn't try anything since I sort of denied him in the movie and I appreciated that. To apologize he insisted on walking me home

"That would be nice, God night Elijah", I went to kiss his cheek but he moved it and I pecked his lips.

"Goodnight beautiful".
