"shuichi, you're going to have to tell him!" kaede had a sad expression on her face. "you're going to move to korea soon, you need to confess to kokichi!"

shuichi weakly smiled, he was moving to korea in two weeks. and he has yet to tell kokichi, his crush and best friend.

"i know," shuichi sighed. "but it's not like he would accept my feelings."

kaede frowned at his words. "are you kidding? he constantly flirts with you. and, he's always finding excuses to talk to you. it's obvious he likes you too!"

shuichi blushed. "i-i'll think about it." kaede sighed and gave him a reassuring look. "you'll know when you're comfortable to talk to him."

"i have to get to class now, see you shuichi!" kaede waved. shuichi looked down at his schedule, next was history-

"saihara-chan!" shuichi's thoughts were interrupted by kokichi hugging shuichi. "ah, ouma-kun?" he smiled.

"saihara-chan? what's with the long face?" kokichi questioned. shuichi just shook his head. "let's get to class."

"so, what are you doing after school today?" shuichi tried to start up a coversation with kokichi. "nothing much, is shumai inviting me to a date?" kokichi's face lit up.

"n-no! it's not like that," shuichi huffed. "i was just wondering if you wanted to hang out!"

"sooooo, a date?" kokichi giggled as shuichi's face instantly turned red. "i'm just messing with ya! where do you plan on going?"

"i was thinking an amusement park?" shuichi suggested. he knew that kokichi had never rode a rollercoaster so he suggested it. kokichi's face lit up and he nodded.

"yesyesyes! my beloved saihara-chan knows me so well!" he giggled.

"let's meet at 3pm, your place," kokichi said before walking off. "byeee!"

shuichi sighed and walked back home. it was already 2:46 pm. shuichi changed into a short-sleeved t-shirt and waited for the small male.

"shumai?" kokichi knocked. shuichi ran to the door and welcome ouma. "alright, we should get going."

both the males had fun at the amusement park, mostly kokichi though.

shuichi screamed softly as the rollercoaster fiercely went down. kokichi stared in amusement and squeezed his hand. "shumai's such a babbyyy!"

shuichi blushed and stayed silent for the rest of the ride. once they got off, kokichi teased him for a good ten minutes before walking off to their next attraction.

kokichi waited patiently at shuichi's favourite place; the park.

the sun was already setting, shuichi had arranged a meeting here to talk. kokichi sighed as he stared at his phone, 6:10 pm, he was ten minutes late.

"kokichi! i'm so sorry to keep you waiting!" shuichi panted as he ran over to the small boy. "nee-heehee! it's okay saihara-chan! just take a seat."

"look kokichi, i have two important things to tell you," shuichi bit his lip. "first one is.. um, i'm moving away to korea."

kokichi's grin suddenly disappeared. "w-what? you're kidding right?" kokichi forced a smile, tears were starting to appear. "tell me you're lying!"

shuichi shook his head. "i'm sorry kichi, but i have to." he was starting to tear up too.

"my uncle was hired in a really big agency there," shuichi's throat was dry.

kokichi looked away. "o-oh, i see how it is," he grinned. "it's fine! it's gonna be fine!" kokichi started crying again.

shuichi sighed and pulled him into a hug. "when?" kokichi managed to ask. "when are you leaving?"

"tomorrow." kokichi looked up at the taller male. "why are you telling me this now?" he sniffed.

"i..i didn't wanna see you cry," shuichi hugged him even tighter. "i don't wanna go, kokichi!"

kokichi wasn't the best at comforting people; especially when he was just as sad too. the two males just hugged the other for what felt like an eternity.

"and.. there's something else i wanted to tell you," shuichi played with his fingers.

"i,uh.."

"you..?"

"ireallylikeyou!likemorethanfriendslike!" shuichi blurted as his face flushed red.

kokichi seemed taken aback from this, but he smiled. "saihara-chan, i like you too!" kokichi said as he pulled the other into a tight embrace once again.

"but, you're gonna leave.." kokichi finally pulled apart. "i promise, that when i get back, i will find you and we can be together."

"promise?" kokichi held out his pinkie.

"promise." shuichi interwined both their pinkies together.

shuichi sighed as he started unpacking. it had been 3 years since he left japan, and now, he was finally back.

the whereabouts of kokichi was still unknown to him, but he made a promise.

that he would find his love once again.

they would reunite, and get together.

and shuichi wasn't going to miss that chance.
