crickets

kokichi sat on his desk, staring into his open window; the distant sound of crickets humming audible.

his eyelids drooped as he continuously scribbled onto his worksheet.

it was already 12am and the little liar was up, doing his homework. by his side, his sleeping boyfriend.

nights like these were the most peaceful for the pair. they got to stay up to talk about things, especially when kokichi doesn't have a good day.

"kokichi..." shuichi yawned as he sat up, his eyes slowly opening. "are you done yet?"

kokichi shook his head, he was no where near done. "it's ok shumai, you can sleep."

"no, it's fine," shuichi said as his head slumped onto kokichi's shoulder once more, getting another giggle out of the liar.

he brushed his fingers through shuichi's hair, unknotting the tangled up bits along the way.

the humming became more audible now. it may have been noisy to others but it was suprisingly calming to the two.

kokichi stared at shuichi as he smiled to himself.

kokichi giggled at the state shuichi was in. he was lying on kokichi's shoulder, softly snoring.

the little liar placed his homework away and fell asleep into his lover's hand, the humming going away almost immediately.

a/n: this was a short chapter i wrote during midnight. sorry for the short updates, i've been busy with examinations and such
