DANIELLA'S POV
The minute the bell sounded, class was dismissed. Everyone got up leaving in a hurry, and I did too with a smile on my face as I held the envelope firmly. Getting to my locker, I mostly kept books in it due to the fact that I don't have much homework this weekend. When I was done, I scanned the hallway looking for the girls. Finally spotting them at Sophie's locker, I approached them with the smile never leaving my face and of course, the envelope still in my hand.
"Hey guys." The girls turn to face me.
"Well someone's in a good mood." Sophie starts.
"Why're you all smiley?" Bella questions, eyeing me suspiciously.
"Wait! Did Scott ask you out?" Vicky asks excited.
"No." I frown, wishing that could happen.
"Then what is it?" They all ask simultaneously. I gesture the envelope towards them.
"Here. Read this."
Vicky is quick to grab it and eyes it up and down.
"What is this? A love letter from Scott?"
I roll my eyes at her. "Just read it."
She opens the envelope and takes out the paper immediately.
"So? What does it say?" Bella asks clearly impatient but to her dismay, Vicky isn't reading aloud. As her eyes scan the paper, a smile tugs at her lips which spreads to a grin.
"Yes!!! This is amazing!"
She engulfs me into a big hug nearly throwing me off balance as I wrap my hands around her.
"Congratulations!" Vicky exclaims.
"Thanks." I say, giggling at her excitement. By now, Bella takes the paper from Vicky and reads it aloud for Sophie.
"It's from the Academic office. It says that after observation and noted outstanding achievements by Mrs.White, I'm happy to say that Miss Daniella Elisa Martinez is now fit to be promoted to Advanced Placement for Music as she wishes. This letter is to certify that she's now a member of this homeroom AP Music class B thus under the tutelage of Mr. Kent."
Bella and Sophie are now both grinning at me.
"This is great news. Congrats," Bella shrieks, hugging me as I hugged her back.
"Wait, did you say class B?" Sophie asks Bella.
"Yeah. Why?"
"That's my class too!" My eyes widen as Sophie gives me a hug which I return because I'm just as excited as she is.
"This is so cool. So, who else is in our class?"
"Well..." Sophie steps back, unsure of what to say.
"There are pretty interesting people."
"Like?" I respond, urging her to go on.
"Well like Eva," She starts but doesn't go further as she sees me rolling my eyes. It was bad enough to be in the same Gym class as her; although Gym class involves the whole of 11th grade, but now I have to survive Music too? I hope she just stays out of my way.
"There's also Chris and Michael so it's not all bad. But then..."
"Finally! Now you're talking."
"At least you can rest easy. Eva won't be able to terrorize you if Chris and Michael are there."
"That can't stop her Vicky. That girl's a snake. I won't let her maltreat me, no way."
"Yeah but..." Sophie starts but gets cut off by Bella.
