"You wish. I'm not some stupid fangirl of yours in case you didn't catch the hint the other day."
He stepped closer to me with annoyance burning in his eyes and I forgot my books that were sprawled on the floor.
"And I'm not a dog that you can spill...
The blaring sound of the alarm clock sitting on the bedside table jolts me awake. I snap my eyes open, reaching for the clock making it silent. Yawning, I get up from the queen-sized bed and flip on the lights, illuminating the spacious room. I checked the time. Exactly 6:00a.m. I grinned as my mind reminded me that today was the day. My first day at Music and Arts Academy. Which was why I woke up extra early to prepare extra well for my first day at the Academy. My insides were bubbling with excitement and on the outside, I could barely contain myself. I was feeling so giddy and excited.
I bounced back into the huge bed with a smile on my face, remembering the day I arrived which was a few days ago.
Aunt Emily had picked me up from the airport and not even a minute later, I drifted off to sleep in the car. Moments later, and I'm being shook awake by my Aunt informing me we've arrived at the house I'll be residing in with her, my Uncle and cousins.
I got out of the car, staring at the huge duplex in front of me, trying to take in the fact that I would be living here now. This was my new home.
We got inside, Aunt Emily helping me with my luggage, while I held a few bags myself as my eyes scanned the interior of the house.
The first thing I noticed was the chandelier that was hung in the ceiling of the spacious living room. Then my eyes drifted to the beige-painted walls that had a few picture frames on them. Basically, the room had a modern vintage theme to it.
"Welcome home." Aunt Emily chirped, smiling at me as I admired her house.
After minutes of admiration and compliments given by me, she ushered me up the stairs to the room I would be staying, specially prepared for me she had said, and left me with my luggages to freshen up and unpack.
I had proceeded to shower and started to unpack but in the middle of my unpacking, I heard noise coming from downstairs which meant my cousins were home. The moment I came downstairs, all three boys directed their gaze toward me. Dylan, Connor and Jay- jay (Julian Jr.) It was the first time seeing Jay-Jay due to the fact that my Aunt was pregnant with him when I was 12. But the other two weren't strangers to me. Later that evening, we all had dinner together, including Uncle Julian who looks an awful lot like my Dad. After spending a weekend with them, I could see why Aunt Emily desperately needed another female in the house.

Dylan was the eldest of them. Although we were both the same age, he was the one I had the least conversation with. Grumpiness was the vibe I had gotten from him all weekend. I had tried starting a conversation with him after learning about the fact that he was a student at Music And Arts Academy( what a coincidence) but he started acting grumpy again. I had a feeling his snarky attitude to me had to do with a certain toy of his back in the day. Well, let's just say it slipped from my hand from the tree house we were in and shattered into pieces. He was a crying mess afterwards.
