Okay I kinda just fell off the face of the earth for awhile so sorry about that, but my dumbass got sick! but I lived bitch, and I'm here with a one-shot requested by s0m3d4y and it's a really cute idea! I hope u like it and I didn't fuck it up lmfao! 🥺💞 i would also like to request u pick a height under 5'3 just for the purpose of this story! (also all of my stories are now gonna be in lower case, so lower case is intended! :)

"Oi anyone here?" u asked pushing open the door to the gym, only to be met with the confused gaze of your soon to be teammates "uh yeah.. hey uhhh?" a guy with a horrible bed head turned to
me "(y/n) (l/n), your new teammate?" i sighed rolling my eyes, knowing that they were fully aware of my arrival "OH YEAH!" he yelled with sudden realisation"okay team! this is (y/n) (l/n) our new teammate!" he smirked waving the rest of the team over "well i mean he did kinda introduce himself earlier kuroo." a boy with bleach blonde hair sighed "pfft.. i knew that." the boy known as kuroo muttered blushing in embarrassment "wait (l/n)-san-" "call me (y/n)." i huffed cutting off the silver haired boy "o-oh okay! (y/n) how tall are you?" he asked "i'm (/'/) why u asking?" i asked cocking an eyebrow up at him- "WAIT UR SMALLER THAN YAKU-SAN!" he yelled right in my face "and who the fuck is yaku?" i sighed

Yaku pov:
-is yaku?" he sighed "i'm yaku." i smiled walking over to him "oh-" he mumbled looking slightly up at me. OMG OMG HE IS SHORTER THAN ME THAT IS ADORABLE! no yaku pull yourself together!! i internally yelled at myself "wow.. your so short!" Lev smiled in amazement "oi! u wanna fucking go u grandma haired looking ass bean-pole!?" yelled (y/n) clearly giving away that his height is a sore subject "okay can we PLEASE get back to practice before Lev gets beaten up for being dumb." yamamoto sighed, forcing me to peel my eyes away from the (h/c) beauty, "HEY IM NOT DUMBBBB!" Lev whined "yes you are." kenma mumbled in his usual monotone voice "so (y/n) what position do u play?" i asked trying to start conversation "oh! i'm usually a libero but i'm assuming that's your job, but i make a pretty good wing-spiker." he smiled, holy shit his smile is gorgeous! "i-i yeah! i'm sure you make an amazing spiker." i smiled back gaining a few weird looks from my teammates in as you how we got each other to smile.

practice seemed to fly by thanks to (y/n), i discovered he's really funny and takes volleyball really seriously, only around me though. and it's still adorable how he's smaller than me! he made great friends with Kenma, they both seemed to bond over their shared dislike for most of the team and how they both loved video games, they were currently talking about this game called 'Mystic Messenger' which of course i have never heard of, maybe i could download it later? i thought to myself as i made my way out of the gym. "oi! Yaku!" i heard someone call after me, i turned around to see (y/n) "yeah?" i asked "y'know ur kinda cute- mind if i get ur number?" he asked smirking at me. "o-oh yeah! s-sure!" i smiled, mentally cursing myself for stuttering. we exchanged contact details and i looked slightly down at him and smiled "i'll cya around shortie." i smiled ruffling his hair and making my way home.

"Mystic messenger? mystic messenger." i mumbled to myself as i scrolled through the app store looking for the game (y/n) liked so much, it took me a minute but i found it and installed it, i realised what type of game it was after playing for a while i smiled to myself and sighed
"their never going to hear the end of this"

well i hope u guys liked that? i have a a good few one-shots planned so i'm looking forward to writing those (i just hope u guys like them aha) also how did u find reading the story in lowercase because if there are any issues please comment and i'll stop using it! anyways sorry about not posting for awhile imma try and upload more soon to make up what i've missed! :)
