Epilogue

This is where I stand.

The dinner now being done with, Phineas and I decided to direct ourselves to the south, to bring him back home. I helped him picking his stuff, before we directed ourselves to the Deserted Beach. This literally was a deserted beach : nobody was at sight when we approached it. Phineas guided me a bit more, until we saw a pack of trees with smoke emating from between them. He reassured me, telling that this was not the kind of smoke you would expect, that wouldburn every tree down. A more magical type, if you prefer.

Anyway. We now advanced to the small village, with the peaceful huts that made it so special. 

''Hm, let's see, where's home now... ah ! Must be here,'' he approached a door and knocked on it. We waited a few moments until a woman openned to us, looking rather aged, just like Phineas did. She then widen her eyes, probably to him. Once she could move again, she wrapped both arms around him, hugging him ever so tightly. 

''Phineas ! Phineas, oh how have I missed you...!'' I recognized now her beig no other than Emily : Phineas' wife.

''There, there, my dear,'' he placed a hand on her cheek, ''you have nothing to worry about, now. I am here. I am back ! And that, wouldn't have been without the help of my friend I met back here : Sonja, a courageous and strong lady for her age !''

''Oh, um, well... he just saw a bit of my skills-'' Emily then kneeled down to me, holding on my hands.

''Sonja, I thank you warmly for bringing my husband back. I will always be grateful to you. Where do you come from ?''

''Well, Seaside Town, over there. That reminds me...! I better get going. It's night time already, and my brother will worry if I don't come back home now. We celebrated my return, and now it is time to rest.''

''Are you sure you just don't want a little glass ?''

''I appreciate your offer, but I better keep going.''

''Well... I guess it is a good bye, Sonja,'' Phineas turned to face me. ''Will we see each other again ?''

''You bet we will ! Just give me a call,'' I handed him my number, ''and I'll be sure to visit you anytime you want !''

''Perfect !'' he thanked me as he took it in hands, then hugged me warmly. ''Good bye to you, my dear, and thank you again for all these adventures with me, on this island ! I will look foward to our next encounter.''

''It will come soon enough ! See you, Phineas. Thank you to you too, for everything,'' I smiled before hugging him back. We looked at each other a last time, before I placed his things down the floor. I waved at him and Emily a last time, before I departured back home.

Now being inside my bedroom, I looked at the stars from my window. I sat on the bed. I marvelled to the sight. It sure was pretty. It looked as if the sky was now painted in many dots of white, shimmering light paintings. I wrapped myself in a burrito with my blanket, before getting myself comfy, now closing eyes. I slowly drifted off to sleep...

Next morning, I woke up abruptly by my ringtone signaling me an incoming call. I groaned before I picked it up, answering sleepily :

''Hello ?''

''H-Hello, Council here... Musicals... c-could you mind coming here for a moment ? We... would like to announce you something.''
