The cops received many calls about violent assaulting in four houses the same night. None of the victims talked, especially because two of them had their jaws broken, one was in a coma, and the fourth one was a Red Eagle so she wouldn't talk at all. It had happened a month ago, and the Police still had no clue of the assaulter's identity. The four victims would have bad after-effects all their lives.

Jane hadn't moved from her bed during those four weeks, but she had a radio on the Police channel and heard everything they said about this. Her name wasn't said at any moment, which made her smile. Cassandra entered her room, making roll Jane's eyes.

- "What do you want!?" snapped the brunette.

- "You don't want to take some air? You're not hurt anymore; you can't spend all your life here."

- "Why not!?"

- "Because it's still my apartment, and it would be better for you to see some of your friends."

- "I don't have friends."

- "Don't be stupid, they spend most of their time at the diner, if you want to check it out. I'm working today, so, please, take some air, even for just an hour."

Jane answered with a long sight and killing eyes. Cassandra smiled to her before going to work. The young girl didn't want to take some air, she was dreading outside; things changed, maybe her friends were better without her, and maybe she wasn't a credible Red Eagle anymore.

Meanwhile, at the diner, different groups of people were sitting there. Medhi, Mallory, and Melissa were eating burgers right next to Lucas with his sister and parents, celebrating the return of his aunt. The atmosphere was cold, there was an icy silence between his mother and his aunt. Next to them was sitting a girl who seemed to have been hit by a bus; it was Julia, one of Jane's victims.

- "So, um, auntie Rosie, how was it?" asked shyly Lucas.

- "I'm not allowed to talk about it," answered the woman.

- "You don't wanna tell your nephew that only psychopaths can work in a place like this!?" told sharply Lucas's mother.

- "If they are in jail, it's for a reason!"

- "They are children! Jail is supposed to make them understand that what they did is wrong, not to make them completely crazy after! They can't even talk to anyone because they are not allowed to!"

- "I don't make the rules!"

- "You don't help to make them better neither!"

- "Ok, ok! I think we got it," intervened Lucas's father. "Let's just drink. In silence."

Lucas pouted to Erika who had a tensed smile. The boy knew his mother wouldn't be happy to see her sister, but he was hoping a better atmosphere; he was glad she had nothing after all these years at Blackbirds.

Jane decided to follow Cassandra's piece of advice and got out of her bed. She was bored anyway, and she needed to stake her territory, to show them that Crazy Jane was still there. She searched in her pile of clothes and decided to wear blue jeans with holes, a red Sex Pistols tee-shirt, and her jacket with spikes but no sleeves. She took her bag, put her black boots, and left the place. When she arrived in the street, she froze. She had no idea to where to go. She looked around and opted for a new haircut, she had none while she was in jail. The hairdresser was a Red Eagle; when he saw her, he had the same surprised expression on his face as the others before him. He bowed in front of her and invited her to take a seat. He fixed her haircut and made red strands. Jane loved it; it was the best way to show them she wasn't down. She put her hair in a ponytail, nodded to the hairdresser, and left the place with more self-confidence than before. She walked through the streets and reached the diner. She waited in front of the door, waiting for someone to open for her, but she shook her head, remembering she wasn't in jail anymore. She opened the door and entered.
