Jane opened her eyes with difficulties. She was hearing a gong in her head, the headache was hardly bearable, and her stomach was burning. Her vision was blurry, but she managed to recognize her aunt sitting on her desk chair. She was talking, but the brunette couldn't hear her. Jane weakly raised her arm to tell her she wasn't understanding, it was certainly why her aunt forced her to stand and bring her to the toilet. Jane immediately threw up, collapsing on her knees. Her ears unblocked, allowing her to hear her aunt.

- "What the fuck is wrong with you!? You spent the last days drinking and getting high! Why!?"

- "Like if you cared," answered weakly Jane.

- "Of course, I care! You're my niece!"

- "You tried to rape me."

- "I, I...I know...I hate me for this, I should...I should have never done that, I'm so sorry..."

- "I don't give a fuck, leave me alone."

- "Do you need something?"

- "Aspirin."

- "I bring you that."

The woman quickly went to the kitchen to bring a glass of water where she put the medicine inside. Jane took it and drank it before giving it back to her aunt.

- "You screamed all night again. You should see someone for your nightmares."

- "Get out of here."

Cassandra pursed her lips before going in the living-room. Jane closed the door to be alone. She didn't realize she was soaked of her own sweat.

Her nightmares were becoming more and more oppressive, she was ever scared to fall asleep, to not live worse in her own dreams. She was always seeing this woman she killed in this arena, but the ground was cadavers of dogs, and the elephant was there, controlling her like a puppet. She kept killing this woman again and again, even when she was begging to stop. Her father was there too, telling her how ashamed he was to have her as a daughter, that she was a loser, no matter what. Sometimes it was hard to know if it was real life or dreams.

She stood with difficulties and looked at her face in the mirror. She was looking like shit, her face was more than pale, she had big dark rings under her eyes, but the right side of her face was less purple. She brushed her teeth, took a shower, and put clothes on before taking her bag and going in the kitchen to leave.

- "Where are you going?" asked Cassandra.

- "Outside. Why!?"

- "Eat something before leaving, I don't want you to collapse."

- "I'll buy something."

- "Is it him?"

- "Who is him?"

- "Your father, is it him who punched your face? Is it why you didn't come back here?"

- "...Maybe, why!?" asked Jane with an upset tone.

- "Because he is the only one who can put you in a such bad state."

- "Why did you ask if you already knew the answer!?"

Jane grabbed some money and left the place. She began to walk in the streets, but every place where she could buy food were full of Red Eagles, and she definitively didn't want to spend some time with them, she hated them. So she kept walking, searching for a good place. She entered one of the only places that wasn't owned by her father: the coffee shop. When she entered, she had the pleasure to see that stupid redhead.

- "There is no rabbit to kill here, or any other animal," told Max.

- "You are an animal, aren't you?"
