As usual Max was working. This summer seemed endless; she never had any time for herself! But today, she wasn't mad to begin early, like that, she didn't have to talk with Gary about last night. It was her first time, so she couldn't compare, but she was expecting...something else. By luck, Bev arrived with her plaster clast at the coffee shop.

- "Hey Max, how are you?" asked Bev, sitting at the counter.

- "Well, uh...I guess Gary and I, well...you know..."

- "You had sex!?"

- "Yeah, please, say it louder, I don't think the entire town heard you!"

- "Sorry, sorry, I wasn't expecting that! How was it?"

- "I, I don't know...I mean, Gary was fine, but we were both stressing, so...it wasn't as good as I thought it would be."

- "It was your first time, it's normal if it wasn't spectacular, it will be better next time."

- "You're sure?"

- "It's like that for everyone, don't torture yourself for this. Did you talk about it with him?"

- "No, I prefer not, I don't wanna hear him telling me that I wasn't very good," pouted Max.

- "He won't, he is a nice guy, and he loves you! Maybe he is stressing because he thinks he wasn't good too!" stated Bev.

- "Yeah...I don't know, maybe it was too early."

- "You're regretting?"

- "No, not really."

- "Then, there is nothing to worry about, talk to him, it's the best way to solve it."

- "Yeah, you're right."

- "I'm always right!"

Max playfully shook her head which made laugh her friend. Bev came to the coffee shop to tell her friend that she would go in vacation with her uncle and her aunt, it was the first time for, she had never gone in vacation before, she was so excited! And Max was very happy for her, she deserved it after this complicated year she spent, it would change her mind, far from this place.

Later in the day, Gary joined his girlfriend at her job during her break. The two lovers sat on a bench not far from the shop, both embarrassed.

- "Look, for last night..."

- "It's fine, it was our first time," cut softly Max.

- "Yeah...I wasn't good..."

- "I can't tell, but I'm sure I wasn't good either!"

- "No, no, you, you were perfect, as usual, you're always perfect, it's me..."

- "I stop you. You put too much pressure on you, you have nothing to worry about, we'll be better next time, right?"

The redhead smiled to him and held out her hand. The boy had a relieved smile before intertwining his fingers with hers.

- "Right."

Max was relieved by this conversation; Gary was feeling the same thing as her and it reassured her, she was worried it could come only from her.

The boy left to let his girlfriend working. The end of the day was a constant rush hour, Max spent her time running everywhere to give everyone their orders. She was waiting one thing, the end of the day! By luck, it wasn't her who was in charge of the close of the shop. It was dark, but she wasn't alone in the shop. She was walking in the streets enjoying the sweet summer when she noticed someone following her. She didn't turn around, not wanting this person to know she noticed them. She didn't know what to do, she didn't want them to know where she was living, they could be an assaulter or a rapist! She kept walking, searching for people around. The streets were empty, how was it possible!? People should be outside, walking, enjoying this moment! She began to stress, seeing no way out, so she decided to run, but the person began to run after her. She took streets she didn't know, trying to lose them, but they were still there, keeping a safe distance behind her but without losing her track. At a moment, she hit someone's shoulder.
