BENJIS POV

"hi Benji" I ran over to him and hug him.

"I knew you would wake up. Im so happy you're awake. I love you so much" A tear slipped down my cheek and he reached up and wiped it away.

"how are you feeling" I asked him.

"Like I got hit by a car" We both laughed. I leaned down and kissed him.

"This past month was torture. I missed you so much" His eyes widened

"I've been out for a month. Oh no what about my classes. Im gonna fail" I grabbed his hand and rubbed my thumb on top of it.

"don't worry about that right now love" He nodded and scooted over signaling for me to lay down next to him. I smiled and laid down and he laid his head on my chest. I wrapped my arms lightly around him so I didn't hurt him. Everything felt right.

I soon fell asleep and for the first time in over a month I didn't have any nightmares. I slept through the entire night. When I woke up Jorge was shaking me. I looked up and saw a doctor.

"Sir we are going to have to ask you to leave for a few minutes. Jorge shook his head.

"Can he stay. Please" He asked. The doctor sighed and nodded. He did a few test type thins just to make sure everything was okay.

Jorge was going to have to stay in the hospital for a few more weeks just so he can fully recover from the accident. Knowing he is awake and safe made me happy.

I never left Jorge's side and If I did it was to go back to our dorm to shower or to get food for us. We watched a lot of Netflix while he was in this hospital. We had nothing else to do.

Jorge hated being in the hospital. He always complained about wanting to leave and asked the doctors everyday if he could leave or when he could leave.

We have watched a lot of Disney movies. I can now say that I can recite the little mermaid word for word. Valentines day was coming up and I have no clue what to get him. Maybe a necklace or bracelet. The only thing that has been on my mind is Jorge and making sure that he recovers from this accident.

He has also caught up on all the work he missed will he was out. Its only been a week since he has woken up and he is doing way better. Other than watching Netflix and doing school work nothing has happened.

Grayson is in police custody and when Jorge is out of the hospital he has to go to court so they can charge Grayson with attempted murder and a hit and run. We all know Grayson is guilty but he still has to go to court.

I didn't tell Jorge that I beat Grayson up. I will tell him eventually but not right now. Its just not the right time. Hopefully he wont be to mad when I tell him. I was just so angry. Like he could have killed Jorge.

If Jorge died from that I would probably snapped Grayson's neck. He deserves a whole lot worse than what I did to him. I hate him with every bone in my body. Im not a violent person but if someone hurts someone I love I will fight.

"Benji im bored" Jorge whined.

"I know you are bored baby but you will be out soon. How about as soon as we get out we go on vacation. You can choose where we go." I told him. We both need a vacation bad. He smiled

"I would love that" He leaned in and connected our lips.

"I love you so much Benji"

"I love you so much to Jorge" I left to get dinner for me and Jorge when I got a call from my mom. We talked for a little while about everything that has happened and it was nice talking to her. Being so far away from her, hearing from her is nice.

I went to be and Jorge's favorite fast food place which is tacobell and ordered food. I ordered Jorge a burrito and nachos and I got the same. I also got 6 tacos because why not.

When I got back a few of Jorge's friends were there. I walked in and sat next to Jorge.

"If you guys want there are some tacos in there" There was only three of them. Syd, Cayman, and Addy. They talked for a little while and left when visiting hours were over.

Once they left I got in bed with Jorge and wrapped my arms around him. We turned on the little mermaid which we have watched at least 7 times since he woke up from the coma. I didn't mind watching it over and over. It makes Jorge happy and it distracts him from what happened and that's all that matters.

While watching I noticed he was quietly singing the lyrics and smiling. I kissed his forehead and he blushed. I started to play with his hair and he yawned.

"are you tired baby" I asked him. He shook his head no and continued watching the movie.

"I love this movie" He said.

"I know you do baby" He looked so peaceful watching the movie. Like nothing was wrong.

I fell asleep half way through the movie and woke up an hour later from a nightmare. I sat up and saw Jorge watching a different movie. He looked at me and paused the movie.

"Are you okay Benji" He asked. I nodded

"Yeah im okay I just had a nightmare" I told him. I cuddled closer to him and fell back asleep while he played with my hair which was calming. Once I fell asleep again I slept through the entire night.

I woke up before Jorge at 7 in the morning. I left the hospital and went to get a coffee and some hot chocolate for Jorge. Starbucks wasn't far from the hospital so I just walked. I also forgot my keys there so I had no choice but to walk. The line there was so long and it took forever just to order but by the time I got the coffee and went back to the hospital Jorge was awake.

"Good morning love, I got you hot chocolate" I handed it to him and he took a sip and smiled

"thank you Benji I love you"

"I love you to" I leaned down and kissed him.

Around 12 some weird stuff happened. Jorge started saying how his head hurt really bad and that he felt light headed.

"Babe do you want me to get a doctor this could be serious" I was concerned. This cant be good.

"No its okay Benji I will be okay" I sat in the chair next to him and grabbed his hand in mine.

"Are you sure you don't want a doctor baby this could be serious. I don't want you to get hurt and I cant have something happen to you" I pleaded. He needs a doctor

"Please Benji ill be okay. I just don't feel good" I sighed but respected what he wanted.

A few minutes went by and Jorge's eyes started to shut then open again.

"Im so tired" He said. His eyes started to close and the heart monitor started going crazy. Jorge's grip on my hand let go and the heart monitor flat lined.

"no no no please Jorge stay with me please" I cried. I shook him but that did nothing. Doctors came rushing in and I tried to stay by Jorge's side but two doctors pulled me out of the room. They shut the door and I slide down the wall crying. The love of my life is gone. I was crying so hard.

He's gone. Forever
