Napaiktad ako sa gulat nang tapikin ni Trinity ang balikat ko. Napabuntong hininga ako.
"Tama ba ang desisyon kong tanggapin ang offer ng kliyente natin? I mean, it's for our business' sake pero kakayanin ko ba ang ugali nung Aly na yun?"
Everyone knows me as the 'Maldita and Palaban' na Chloe Mariano during our college days pero iba na ngayon. Iba na kapag matured ka na. Iba na kapag hindi nalang sarili mo ang iniisip mo ngayon. Iba na kapag may pangalan at negosyo ka nang iniingatan.
"I feel you girl. Pero ikaw pa rin magdedecide. Pero I think it's not too late pa naman?"
"Friend, nandito na siya. I already signed a contract with Mr. and Mrs. Gomez. I have to face the consequences of my decisions. Isipin nalang natin na para sa school ito. I guess I have to be professional infront of her." I sighed.

Ang dami na masyadong gumugulo sa isip ko lately. Si Zeke, kung sino yung nagdala sa akin sa hotel, at dumagdag pa itong si Aly. Gosh, Chloe. Sobrang quota ka this year. Congratulations.
Speaking of that hotel incident, I decided to go back to that hotel para magtanong-tanong. As expected, wala akong nakuhang sagot sa kanila because of their privacy policy. I am about to exit the hotel pero bigla ako nagcrave sa Iced Cappuccino so I stop by sa coffee shop doon. Good thing, lagi kong dala ang favorite novel ko. This is one of my ways to reduce stress and be relaxed kahit sa maikling oras lang.
"Chloe?" a familiar voice called my name. I'm shookt to see Andre!
"Oh my...Hi!" Medyo OA pero I don't why I felt so happy to see him.
I guess, masyado nalang akong nagsasawa sa mukha ni Trinity at ng mga teachers sa school kaya ganun nalang ang saya ko kapag nakakaencounter ako ng old friends. Weird right?
"Mind if I join you?" he gently asked.
"Sure!" I immediately closed the book that I was reading. I even forgot to put my bookmark pero bahala na.
"Guess what? I think we'll be seeing each other often." he smiled. "I'm staying here in Manila for a year or two. It depends." He handed me a book written by him. May sign nya ito and dedication.

Ilang buwan din simula nung huling nagkita kami sa Seoul. Marami kaming napagkwentuhan about life and past experiences from our college life pero never nyang in-open or tinanong ako about Zeke which is good because I am finally preparing myself to move on from him. Kailangan ko na talagang tanggapin na it's over between us. Hindi na niya ako naaalala so might as well forget about him, his existence. Just a thought, mas lalong gum-wapo si Andre. Well, gwapo na siya nung college palang kami and even nung huling pagkikita na namin sa Seoul. But, iba ang aura niya ngayon. Parang fresh? Inspired? Wait, inspired? Does it mean na may girlfriend na siya? Related ba ito sa pag stay niya dito sa Manila? Gosh, Chloe! Pati ba naman kay Andre mag ooverthink ka? Stop it! Chill lang, okay?
"Are you okay, Chloe? May nasabi ba ako?" he asked.
"Ah hindi, wala. May naalala lang ako pero wala yun. Hindi naman importante. Just a random thought." I sipped on my Iced Capp and smiled at him.
"Uhm, I was thinking. Uhm... are you free tonight?"
Natigilan ako sa tanong niya. Is he asking me on a date? Naku, Chloe. 'Wag ka munang kiligin jan. Wait for him to drop the bomb.
I am about to answer nang biglang mag-ring ang kanyang phone. He asked for my permission to answer it. Ofcourse, I said yes. He was talking to someone in korean. Tinitignan ko lang siya and I am really amazed with his features. If I don't know him personally or hindi ko siya nakilala before, iisipin ko na he got a plastic surgery. Pero he's not. I guess puberty really hitted him. I decided to take a photo of him, secretly, ofcourse. Gosh. Kahit sa picture, good looking pa rin.
Oops! Ang larawang ito ay hindi sumusunod sa aming mga alituntunin sa nilalaman. Upang magpatuloy sa pag-publish, subukan itong alisin o mag-upload ng bago.
"Sorry about that. It's my publisher. Asking some things about work. As I was saying, I'm inviting you over to dinner. May sasabihin ako sayo." he smiled. He really looks so happy and excited. Ano kaya ang sasabihin niya mamaya na hindi niya masabi ngayon?

"My gosh, Friend! I think he's going to pursue you again! Kailangan maganda at fresh ka later!" Trinity exclaimed
"Tingin mo ba? I don't know pero kinakabahan ako. When he asked for my number, nanginginig ako literally while typing my digits sa phone niya. Silly me." kwento ko.
Ang daming tanong na gumugulo ngayon sa akin. If he says na gusto niya ako and he wants to court me again, ano ang isasagot ko? Am I ready to move on? Am I really ready to forget about Zeke? Pero sabi ng nila, hindi mo malalaman ang sagot kung hindi mo susubukang gawin. Okay, Chloe. You got this. Deserve mo naman maging masaya after what happened.
