Chapter 13: Who Am I?

Zeke's POV

Since I don't have any schedule for the whole week and Tony's on vacation, why not explore some things from my past. After the accident, may mga bagay or pangyayari from my past ang hindi ko maalala. My memory's a mess right now. Hindi ko alam kung alin doon ang totoo or just my imagination or a dream.
I decided to go visit my university, HAU. Maybe visiting my previous school will make my memories back kahit konti. Losing a part of my memory is like losing a piece of yourself. Parang may kulang sa akin na hindi ko alam kung ano o sino yung kulang. The guard recognized me so he let me in. I met some of my past professors. They heard about my accident and asked if I still remember them. Well, I remembered some of them. They toured me around the campus at napakalaki na ng pinagbago ng HAU. 

It's already 9:05pm. I am about to open the car door when I saw someone standing sa gitna ng field. I don't believe in ghosts or whatever. I don't know pero I felt like I need to go there. As I am walking towards that person, I notice that she's a girl. Maybe a student? Faculty member? Cleaners? A former student like me?
It was a quiet night until she began to scream.

"Mga Paasa!"

That voice. I recognized that voice. Ah! I remember now.

"Drunk Girl?"

The next thing I knew, we were both inside my car. I'm not that rude to make a girl leave when it's raining hard outside. I took a quick glance at her. She's attractive I must say. There's this feeling about her that I can't explain. Para bang I've known this girl for a very long time. Wait, what the heck, Zeke? What's happening to you? She's not your type for goddamn sake! You're just confused since you haven't been with a girl since... since when? Shit! I can't even remember! Damn that freaking accident.

Bigla kong inalis ang tingin ko when I saw her see-through dress dahil sa nabasa ng ulan. I immediately removed my jacket and gave it to her. Good thing, I always bring extra shirts with me.

"Here, wear this. I can see what's inside those white dress that you're wearing."

I don't mean to be awkward pero...yeah, It's really awkward on my part.

"Manyak!" she exclaimed. She immediately wears my jacket.

"Hey! I'm just trying to be nice. Ayaw mo ba? Take it off." I said. But she refused. I just rolled my eyes.

Malakas pa rin ang ulan and it's getting late. Wala naman akong schedule in the morning so I can still sleep when I get home. I am currently looking at the other side of window habang si Drunk Girl naman ay sa kabilang side ng bintana nakatingin. If I continue this for another 30 minutes, we're both getting stiff neck kaya naisipan kong mag initiate ng conversation. I just felt na mukhang matatagalan pa kaming magkakasama dito dahil lalong lumakas ang ulan. I already texted Tony and he hasn't replied yet.

"It's Zeke Anderson." I know na he knows me pero mas okay pa rin to introduce myself formally, right?

"What?" she said.

Lumingon sya sakin and she's looking directly to my eyes na para bang normal nalang ang ganitong setup for her. I'm starting to think na matagal na kaming magkakilala. Pero that's impossible. Tony should've mentioned her to me or even her! Dapat nagpakilala na siya sakin if we knew each other before the accident.

"I said, ako si Zeke. I just thought na I should introduce myself formally. Baka ipagkalat mo pa sa mga online forums na I'm not nice o gentleman."

"Ha? Online forums? hahaha! Are you serious? May gumagamit pa ba ng ganun? Nasa social media na ang mga tao ngayon. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. Just to name a few."
