SUMMARY: haechan and renjun are boyfriends who stay up all night in their shared dorm to study for a big exam the next day.

"ugh, i hate exams!" renjun complains, grunting as he grips on his pen tightly.

"who doesn't?" haechan sighs, rolling his eyes, not at renjun but at the thought of taking an exam.

haechan then glances at the digital clock resting on the wall, and seeing it's almost 11:00 in the evening makes him sigh even more.

"my eyes are so heavy right now but i haven't finish my reviewer yet." renjun pouts, continuing to write on his notes.

"why are you even making a reviewer? it's not necessary, really." haechan told him but the older only shook his head.

"i still need it!"

"fine, whatever floats your boat." he said, rolling his eyes.

haechan looks down at his book. thinking about how much lessons does he have to study on makes his head dizzy.

they are sitting in an indian seat on the floor while their things are on the center table in front of them.

while writing, renjun feels the urge of wanting to sleep. his eyes are so heavy and all he thinks about is he wants to sleep now. right now. but he hasn't finish the notes he's writing yet.

on the other hand, haechan's eyelids are starting to close but he shakes his head and opens his eyes widely, very widely, as he looks at his book, trying his best not to sleep. nope, not right now. he needs to study.

"hyuckie, i want to sleep now." renjun said in a low volume, almost inaudible but haechan still manages to hear it.

"baby!" he gasps when the older's head suddenly fell on the notebook the latter is writing on. "renjun, don't sleep here. the bedroom is just there." he even pointed at their shared bedroom.

"i wanna sleep." the older tries to open his eyes but his eyelids are so heavy, he just wants to close his eyes and sleep.

"me too, baby, i want to sleep." haechan sighs, holding renjun's shoulder. "come on now, let's go to the bedroom." his roommate slash boyfriend only nodded, eyes are still closed.

he's so cute. renjun is so cute, indeed.

as they enter their bedroom, renjun didn't waste any time and just flops himself on the bed, closing his eyes.

sighing, haechan crawls on the bed to put renjun in a more comfortable position. renjun's lips quirk up into a small smile.

the younger closes the door before going back on the bed. he lies beside his boyfriend then closes his eyes. he then felt the older moved closer to him and lays his head on his chest and hugs his tiny waist.

"you smell so nice, hyuckie."

he smiles at that, hugging back the older male's waist. "go to sleep."

"good night. love you."

"love you too. sleep tight, baby."

the next day, there was a heavy sigh coming from haechan's lips as he approaches renjun by the school's gate.

"oh, what's the big sigh for?" the latter asks worriedly, "did something happen?"

"i'm not sure about what might be my exam's result but at least it's over." renjun laughed, and haechan swears, it sounds like an angel.

"you silly! but you're right, at least it's over." renjun kisses his boyfriend's lips quickly then holds his hand. "let's go! the squad's already waiting at the coffee shop."

haechan creased his forehead, "why are we going there?"

"it was jaemin and jeno's 4th monthsary, they wanted to treat us on a little celebration. come on, coffee sounds good after the stress from taking the exam." renjun pulled him towards the exit.

"you're right! i think i would like some coffee," he then intertwined his fingers into the older's, "but my boyfriend beside me sounds better."

renjun giggles and squeezes the younger's hand lightly, "i really love you, donghyuck."

"i love you more, renjun, i swear." haechan leans in to press his lips onto his boyfriend's forehead.
