i woke up at exactly 2:00 am in the 24/7 convenience store nearby our house. what? how did i get here?

"ouch!" i groaned as i bumped my head onto the fridge full of beers and rootbeers. i stood up while caressing my ached head. what am i doing here?

i walked over to the door and i noticed that there's only one cashier here. he looked very sleepy, his eyes were about to shut. i'm sleepy, too.

i noticed the red polka dotted ribbon clip attached onto his hair. that's kinda cute.

i suddenly look at my wrist and i'm wearing a bracelet with a red polka dotted ribbon clip. wait, what?

i also noticed that we're wearing the same clothes. i mean, not exactly the same but they're opposite. i have my white polka dotted red t-shirt and he has red polka dotted white t-shirt. what kind of craziness is this? i must have been dreaming.

"sir, how may i helpㅡ" he looked at the direction of my shirt and i swear his eyes went wide. "ㅡyou?"

"i g-gotta go." i said and left the convenience store. i'm sure that's only coincidence. right?

the next day, i went to the same convenience store to buy band aid for my right forefinger. i cut it while reaching for the scissors.

i looked at the digital clock and it says 2:00 am. i creased my forehead. that's weird.

i walked over to the cashier and it was the same guy i saw yesterday. "uh, may i have a band aid?" he nodded and when he gave me the band aid, i was shock to see that he has a band aid on his right forefinger. it was just coincidence, right?

he looked at me and smiled, "looks like you also cut your finger, hm? i cut my finger earlier while reaching for the scissors." what?

"really? same exact thing happened to me earlier." i replied and grabbed the band aid from the guy.

he chuckled, "that would be three won." i gave him three won and he put it into the cash register.

i looked at his hair and instead of ribbon clip, i saw a plain pastel blue headband. why does he look so girly?

i touched my forehead and i felt a thing surrounded it. i took it off and it was my plain pastel blue sweatband. oh, still coincidence, right?

the next day again, i went to the same convenience store i went to yesterday. again, it was two o' clock in the morning. why is it always at 2:00? the clock must be broken.

i walked over to the huge fridge to grab some cold water. there's no cold water in our house so i went here to buy some.

as i was about to walk over to the cashier, i almost bumped at the same guy in the cashier i saw yesterday and the other day. "oh, s-sorry."

again, i noticed something suspicious. we were both wearing exact same designed sweatshirts. the colors are light green and it has mini teddy bear on the left side. aish, really?

"hey, you again!" he exclaimed and i just smiled flatly. "today's pretty hot, isn't it? i will give you that for free." he pointed at the two bottles of cold water i'm holding.

"really? t-thanks." i smiled and offer him the other bottle of water. "you want?"

he gestured a no, "anyway, uh, i'm na jaemin." he introduced himself and he smiled. that smile could light up my dark world.

"i'm lee jeno."

"cool! can we hang out soon? and i think we should stop wearing the same thing unintentionally, right?"

"y-yeah."

"oh, oh, jeno?" i hummed as a reply, "people say that when you meet your soulmate and you're both wearing the same thing, on the third day, you'll become close."

i raised an eyebrow, "what do you mean?"

"don't you think we're soulmates? look, today is the third day since we met and we're talking to each other right now. so, don't you think?"

i shrugged. "well, my grandmother told me about that soulmate thingy before. i ignored it but i think yes, we're soulmates."

he laughed, "should we exchange phone numbers then?"

"sure!"

since then, we decided to hang out often and wear couple shirts. soon after, i asked him to be my boyfriend. and guess what? he said yes! i feel like i'm the luckiest guy in the world.

"hey babe, stop staring at my picture. i am just here, y'know. you can stare at me all the time." i turned to look at jaemin and he's grinning.

i just chuckled. "hey, is that my hoodie?" i pointed the hoodie he was wearing. it's a plain gray colored hoodie.

he nodded while smiling, "i like wearing your clothes."

"it's fine." i ruffled his hair as he giggled, "i love you, na jaemin."

"i love you, too, lee jeno!"
