Chapter Fifteen, Attack on Berk

It was night time at Berk and the people of the village had no idea of the danger that was approaching them just off shore. That is, until all of their dragons started acting weird bumping into things in their house as they made their way outside, the people followed their dragons to call them back or to find out what was happening we don't know. When they came outside they gasped in horror as they saw a strange man riding Toothless with a large grey dragon behind him that they had never seen before and a large cloud of dragons around the large dragon that had icey blue eyes and a dangerous look in them. The dragon roared and the people started backing away slightly Spitelout who had been in charge of protecting the people subtly herded them back.

"Your Chief is dead." Drago announced happily to the people of Berk. No one can protect you now." He pointed towards them and the dragon let out is icy breath destroying many houses but luckily thanks to Spitelout herding them away they were able to make a clear run for it and no one was injured. All they prayed to Odin and Valkyries that the others wound find away back soon as they had seen their dragons in the control of that man and his dragon.

Morning had arrived and Hiccup and the others arrived they gasped when they saw the state of their home. The sea sentries has been destroyed and it was covered in ice. "He took all the dragons." Fishlegs exclaimed.
"Distract the alpha. Try to keep his focus off Volta and Toothless." Hiccup ordered.
"Uh, How!" Tuffnut asked.
"Have you forgotten who your riding with?" Eret asked. "There's not a dragon alive I can't wrangle! Except this one!" Eret exclaimed as he was jolted up and down.
"Amateur!" Snotlout scoffed as they all headed towards their home. Hiccup and Elivra heading towards Drago. "Elivra here!" Sirius shouted stopping them as he tossed Elivra another potion. "Be careful!"
"I promise dad! Thank you." Elivra said as downed the potion vanishing the vial when she was done.

"Hey look!" One of the villagers exclaimed. "It's Hiccup and the others!" He shouted as everyone looked and cheered as help had finally arrived. "What?" Drago asked shocked they had found some dragons that alpha didn't control. Hiccup and Elivra flew closer to Drago and the Bewilderbeast tried to take control of the baby dragon but couldn't but was distracted by a sheep flying up past his face. "Keep em coming!" Ruffnut shouted loading another sheep into the toss they use for dragon racing. "Black sheep, baby!" Snotlout called. The dragon roared about to use his ice breath when he was distracted once more by the horn sounding but no one was there as Fishlegs was hiding. This continued a few times before he got angry and was about to blast Snotlout and the others but Fishlegs blew the horn once more so he blasted him instead, Fishlegs jumping clear at the last second. "I'm okay!" He called to the others.

Hiccup and Elivra flew closer to Drago until they were right in front of him as Volta was flying next to Toothless ahead of the other dragons. "You two certainly are hard to get rid of, I'll say that." Drago commented. Hiccup and Elivra ignored his taunting as they spoke to their dragons Elivra able to get a little closer to get dragon then Hiccup could. "Toothless?" Hiccup called hesitantly. "Hey it's me, bud."
"Volta? It's me. It's Elivra. You wouldn't hurt me right. I know you wouldn't you love as much as I love you. You saved me." Elivra called to get dragon her eyes becoming slightly less blurry as she was starting to recognise Elivra and Drago didn't notice as he was too focused on Toothless and Hiccup at least not until she cried. "There's my girl!" As Volta came back to herself calling to her happily.

"How did you do that?" Drago asked stunned as he tried to get Volta back under his control but failed as Elivra jumped onto Volta touching her head. "Guess you don't understand love." Elivra sassed. Moments later Toothless eyes started changing as he fought against the control. "That's it Toothless! I'm right here! I'm right here!" Hiccup coached.
"How are you doing that?" Drago asked Hiccup now as he once again tried to gain control but couldn't. "Atta boy!" Hiccup praised. Drago went to his Toothless but he grabbed the spear pulling Drago off of him but without a rider he started to fall but Hiccup jumped onto him pulling him up to Elivra and Volta. Once Toothless saw Elivra he trilled happily his tongue sticking out. "Hi Toothless." She laughed as she leaned over to stroke him.

"We need to get those two apart." Hiccup told Elivra as they flew around the island grabbing a piece of the ripped flag each dodging the icy blast that was shot at them as they came behind the cliff. "We have to block him out, Toothless." Hiccup told him. "Do you trust me bud?" Toothless rumbled reassuringly as Volta did the same to Elivra as they both tied the flag over their eyes. "We can do this. You and me as one." Hiccup and Elivra said as they placed a hand on their dragons head.
"I hope this works." Hiccup muttered.
"It will." Elivra assured. "I believe in you. Now let's take him down babe!" Hiccup smiled feeling much more confident now as they flew towards them. "Now, let's try this one more time." Hiccup exclaimed changing the setting on Toothless' fake tail fin. Everyone cheered as they flew past. "Go get them!" Valka called to her son and daughter in law.

"Take control of them!" Drago ordered where he stood on the Bewilderbeast's tusk. Toothless and Volta's ears were twitching as the dragon tried to take control of them but Elivra and Hiccup covered there ears muttering to them shut it out and it worked. Their bond with their rider, their love for their rider and each other rider was too strong. "Now!" Hiccup ordered as he switched the setting on the tail just as the Bewilderbeast let out another icy blast but it was too late. Drago saw the two Night Furies fly up above him into the air abs started laughing thinking he'd won once more, but he gasped in shock when he saw the saddles were empty the flag falling off of their eyes. He looked behind him gasping when he saw Hiccup and Elivra flying towards him on their own covering his face as smoke was covering him and the tusk he stood on.

Hiccup and Elivra clicked a button on their sword igniting the gas blasting Drago off of the Bewilderbeast and on to the floor. As the tail of the Bewilderbeast rose up to swat Hiccup and Elivra, Toothless and Volta got a determined look on their faces as they popped their dorsal fins up and caught them flying them free of the tail and up into the air. "Yeah! We did it!" Hiccup exclaimed happily as he rubbed Toothless' face as Elivra kissed Volta on her head over her diamond mark. They flew back down in front of Drago who was crawling to his spear. Hiccup and Elivra leapt off their dragons who were growling at the man as Hiccup and Elivra the their flame swords stopping him in his tracts and almost burning his hand. "Hold him there, Toothless, Volta!" Hiccup ordered.

"It's all over now." Elivra said as she stood beside me Hiccup as they put away their flight suit wings but behind them as the dust was starting to settle they failed to notice the Bewilderbeast behind them, but Drago noticed. "Or is it?" Drago asked smirking Volta and Toothless snarled louder at him. Hiccup and Elivra turned around seeing the Bewilderbeast behind them inhaling ready to blast them. "Oh no!" Elivra cried trying to run with Hiccup's hand in her's as they used the other hand to shield their face, Volta and Toothless diving at their riders as the icy blast was let loose covering the four of them.
