Chapter Ten, Dragon Haven

Stoick and Sirius are flying off in the direction their wayward children went trying to follow their trail accompanied by Gobber on his dragon Grump when a snow storm suddenly hit them. "Liv always has to help others, even at the expense of herself. Add to that she has both her parents tempers and stubbornness from both of them and most likely me as well. And she can't sit back and do nothing which she got from the three of us." Sirius groaned throwing his head back. "Hiccup's the same." Stoick replied. "Boar-headed! Just like his mother! Aye, she could never stay out either."
"He's just twenty." Gobber said waving off Stoick's concerns but he agrees with Sirius as he's seen what Elivra is like if someone needs help and she can help she'll do it. "And a Viking. Could there be a worse combination?" He asked his friend.

"When I think of how stubborn and senseless you were back in the day..." Gobber says to Stoick but he trails off as he looks at his old friend. "Oh. Well, not much as changed, actually." He says quietly making Sirius laugh despite the situation.
"Ah, you know when he's like. He won't give up Gobber." Stoick sighed.
"Elivra is the same. The amount of times she's been injured and had to be put in a magical coma to heal I dread to think." Sirius mused. "I love her with all my being but my daughter is a danger magnet, it's just drawn to her."
"Can you imagine what their kids will be like." Gobber laughed as Stoick groaned.
"I don't want to think on her having children yet. She's my little girl." Sirius huffed. Stoick and Gobber smiled at their friend knowing how much Liv means to him, though Stoick had to agree if he had a daughter he'd probably be the same.

"If Hiccup and Elivra find Drago before we find them..." Stoick sighed bringing the conversation back to what concerned the two fathers greatly.
"Nothing can hurt Hiccup and Elivra as long as those Night Furies are around, especially Volta." Gobber mused. "Theyre Night Furies!" He scoffed as if they would be hurt with those dragons protecting them Volta broke out of the ice she was frozen in to help Elivra, the thought was just absurd in Gobber's opinion. "What is it Stoick?" Sirius asked concerned when the Chief sees something but he doesn't answer as he flies down to hole in the frozen ocean Sirius and Gobber following behind as Stoick picks up two masks, one brown and red, Hiccup's and the other green, and black, Elivra's. Sirius and Gobber see the masks that Stoick is holding fear surging through them. The two never take their masks off while flying.

"Liv!" Sirius gasped. Sorry and fear surging through it at what could have happened to his daughter and Hiccup. "We'll find her Sirius I promise!" Stoick swore. "I promised you, you both would be safe as long as I'm Chief and I intend to keep that promise!" Stoick leaned forward in his saddle to reach his dragons nose, a Rumplehorn is a tracker dragon and can follow the scents to lead them to the two missing Vikings. "Find them Skullcrusher! Find them!" Stoick ordered as his dragon smells the two helmets. After getting a good whiff of the helmets Skullcrusher roads and shouts off into the sky filling the scent trail, Sirius and Gobber behind them.

On the island covered with ice Hiccup and Elivra are running off after his mother trying to keep up with her, their dragons behind them. "Hold on. Wait just a minute." Hiccup called.
"This way!" Hiccup's mother called expertly climbing over the rocks as Hiccup and Elivra are left behind slightly.
"Come back here!" Hiccup shouted.
"Come!" His mother says beckoning them with her finger.
"You can't just say something like that to Hiccup and run off!" Elivra shouted angry for Hiccup.
"You're my mother?" Hiccup shouted agreeing with Elivra. "I mean, what the... Do you grasp how insane it sounds?"
"Come, quickly!" Is all she says not even slowing down to answer his questions. Elivra let out a frustrated growl she hated it when people kept things from them.

Hiccup sensing his betrothed getting angry on his behalf squeezed her hand gently and gave her a kiss to the cheek to calm her down slightly. "I have questions!" Hiccup shouted at his mother trying to climb over the large rock but couldn't do Elivra levitated him up slightly before Volta pushed her up after him. "Thank you Liv." Hiccup muttered before he turned back to shouting his questions at his mother. "Where have you been all this time? What have you been doing?"
"They told him you were dead!" Elivra shouted after the woman.
"Everyone back home think you were eaten by..." Hiccup trails off as he sees the magnificent sight before him, Elivra gasping at the sight before her. It was beautiful. It was a small little green world filled with all different types of dragons.
