Rain and Lucas come off the bus.
Lucas: (curious) Where are we going?
Rain puts her hand on Lucas's face, so he can 't see.
Rain: (smile) It's a surprise.
Lucas: (nervous) Ok.
Rain: (smiles) Ok, we are here. Keep your eyes closed, at the count of three, open your eyes.
Lucas: Ok
Rain: (smiles) 1... 2... 3. Open.
Lucas looks at Rain with a confused smile.
Lucas: (confused smile) What are we doing here?
Rain: (smile) Well, I remembered when we were little, every year we would come here and since tonight was the last day, I thought we should have fun.
Lucas: (smile) I guess. Let's go.
We went in, we went to the roller coasters, got some cotton candy, took pictures and lastly we went to the Ferris wheel.
Lucas: (smiles) That was fun, we should go home.
Rain: (smiles) No, we still have one more places to go.
Rain: (smiles) Open your eyes.
Lucas opens his eyes and he smiles.
Rain: (smiles) Do you remember?
Lucas: (smiles) Of course I do.
Rain: (smiles) This is the same playground we became friends, Bestfriends. At this same playground, you became my hero and one of the most important people in my life.
Lucas looks at Rain and smiles, then looks back to the playground, he takes a sit on a bench.
Lucas: (bittersweet smile) I miss those days, I miss being a kid, that kid who lived his life with no care in the world. I wish I wasn't in a rush to grow up when I was younger.
Rain smiles remembering their time at the playground.
Flashback
Little Lucas: (worried) Are you okay?
Rain nods her head.
Little Lucas: (smiling) Don't listen to her, you are beautiful.
Rain looks down shyly.
Little Lucas: (smiling) My name is Lucas, what's yours?
Little Rain: (shy) Rain.
Little Lucas: (smiling) Cool name, let's be friends.
End of flashback.
They both remained quiet admiring the playground.
Rain: Lucas?
Lucas: Hmmm?
Rain: I like you.
Lucas: (surprised) What?
Liam POV
I was sleeping when I got a phone call.
Liam *murmur to himself*: (annoyed) What's the time?
Liam answers the call without checking the ID.
On the phone
Liam: Hello
Rain: You were right. If they don't they don't, but you never said it was going to hurt.
Liam: Rain? What?
Rain: It hurts, it hurts so much.
Liam: Where are you?
End of call
Liam quickly ended the phone call, wore his clothes and ran out.
I finally found Rain sitting at a bench near a park.
Liam bends down and lifts Rain's chin so Rain could look at him.
Liam *speaks softly*: (worried) What happened?
Rain looks at Liam with a blank expression while tears slowly drip down her face and Rain suddenly hugs Liam.
I was taken aback, but I hugged her back.
After a while, Liam separates the hug, lifts Rain chin to look at her and wipes her tears with his thumb
Liam *says softly*: (worried) Stop crying, and tell me what happened.
Rain: I followed your advice
Liam: (confused) What?
Rain: I confessed my feeling and ruined everything
Flashback
Lucas: (surprised) What?
Rain: I like you
Lucas sigh and looks into Rain's eyes.
Lucas: I'm sorry.
End of flashback.
Liam: We are here.
Rain: Thanks
Liam: Rain, look at me.
Rain looks at Liam.
Liam: Promise me you will stop crying, I don't like seeing you crying.
Rain: I will try.
Rain walks in.
Rain sits on her bed and looks at a picture of herself and Lucas with tears in her eyes.
It has been weeks since I last talked to Lucas after that day. Lucas keeps ignoring me and acts as if he doesn't know me. We have become stranger's, it confusing best friends
