What the fuck was that? I stared at the empty house.
You finally had a chance to talk things over and win her again. These thoughts of her cheating with his best friend troubled me. The cloudy night forced me to sit in front of the fireplace. You know what, I said, let me visit her after two days or tomorrow, I sighed.
Yeah, let me go tomorrow. Walking up the stairs whilst yawning, the only obvious thing was to talk to the hospital I owned, about five blocks away from here."How's it going there?" I said, wearing my sweatpants.
"That's great," I laughed, "oh you need more medicine?" I removed my shirt.
"Just talk to the manager then get me the review of the type of medicines you need," I tugged myself, "okay bye," I finally went to dreamland. This time the weather was better but still a bit chilly. I wore one of my suits and brushed my beard. Time to bring the wife back home. Garage door opened and a furious Velar drifted into the streets.
"Why can't we just go today?" Keisha hugged her fluffy teddy bear.
"Because," Kim paused and smiled, "actually you have a point since he's clearly not coming back."
"He'll come back," Lorna packed their favorite discs, "boys do it all the time," she flinched with doubt in her words."We should get going," Keisha muttered, "we don't wanna be late...," she paused as she heard squealing of brakes.
Curiously, she pulled down the curtains and stared unbelievably at the great Andrew Taruz, walking towards the main door."Looks like Lorna made a really good statement," she smirked.
Everyone dashed to the curtains and spotted the handsome man walking down the narrow path.
"See," Lorna's voice filled with confidence, " told you babe," she snickered.
"What if he came to tell me bad news?" Keisha panicked.
"Stop it!" Kim spoke up, "you're stressing the baby," she held Keisha's hands, "just remember that you're not alone."
"Exactly," Kiara chewed her noodles.
Everyone laughed and a faint knock interrupted the moment. All the girls surrounded the queen and fixed her hair, clothes and her face.Keisha hesitated opening the door and stood face to face with me.
"How are you?" I said.
"I'm good," she coughed, "I'm good."
"Awesome," I smiled, "let's go back home. I heard Amy is making a photo collage of us at home," I laughed a little.
"She was ready anyway," Lorna grabbed Keisha's suitcase.
Keisha just rolled her eyes at Lorna and smiled faintly.
"Please, come in," Kim's head popped out of the door.
"Very well," I unbuttoned my jacket and entered the vast apartment."Noodles?" Kira offered her takeaway.
"No thank you," I smiled.
"Your loss anyway," she dove into her remaining noodles.
"Listen, Keisha," I started the quiet crowd, "I miss you so much. Yes, I was told everything I need to know but there's a deeper yearning towards you despite these obstacles and I just want to say that, I'm still learning how to love," I smiled faintly.
"I do," she smiled and stood up to approach me, "for real this time," she held my hands.
Her tender touch, the almond smell, the soft, delicate skin and the irresistible hair were truly missed. But apart from this, the love she portrayed in that lonely house of mine was spellbinding."I love you," I said in between tears.
"How sweet," she teased, "that's a first," she smiled uncontrollably.
"Wait, hold up!" I defended myself.
"Care to share your lie," she snickered, "I love you," she sat beside me."
"Well to be clear," I continued in laughter, "there was a time I said it at the fireplace."
"Really now?" She clapped her hands.
"Yes!" I raised my voice.
That's when Keisha rested her delicate head on my shoulder. It felt so good. To understand love after what both people have gone through together, was the best feeling a man treasured. So it stays and there's proof, I love Keisha."This is so cute," Lorna sobbed.
"It's like watching an actual movie," Kira admired.
"What are you waiting for?" Kim shouted at the couple, "get out of here!" She laughed.
"She's right," I chuckled, "dinner's not going to make itself."
"We cook together," she lingered for a kiss and I gave her just that."We were just about to leave," Keisha confessed.
"And go where?" I packed the suitcases in the car.
"Somewhere far from here."
"The only place you're going to," I closed the canopy, "is home where you belong," I clenched my jaw.
"Ooh, commands. I think I'm going to like this new Viking," she giggled like a little girl, "my favorite."The nightmares haunted me still. Thoughts of the best people in my world raced through my unstable mind. It's really difficult to process this tragedy at the moment.
"Hey," she held my face, "never again, I swear," she kissed me vigorously."So where to right now?" Her seatbelt clasped.
"I was thinking of a familiar place," I started the car.
"Cool, where?" She stared at me.
"Let's visit an old friend first," I reversed the Velar, "next stop, Asher's place," I revved the car into the mysterious sunset.Keisha flinched at the awkward visit to her, well let's just say ex-fuck buddy. No more of this melodrama, Keisha muttered under her breath, no more.
