"Welcome home baby," I opened the huge door.
Keisha started crying.
"Hey, what happened?" I stared at her.

She gently placed the baby in the cradle and stood next to the bed. I just stared at her and smiled, confused at what she wanted to do.
"Thank you, Andrew," she sniffled and wiped her eyes with her long jacket, "for everything," she chuckled a bit but got chocked with her own tears.
I ran over to her and hugged her tightly.

The evening warm air, whooshed under Joanna's blue dress. Her hair, a ponytail, reached her waist. Timmy smelled like grease from his dirty motorbike.
They all crouched under the thick bushes and Joanna freed her ponytail.

"Did you bring it?" She snapped.
Timmy groaned and pulled out a long black case.
"I don't like the look of things," Timmy hesitated and handed  over  the case.
"Don't worry," she opened the case hastily and took out the magazine.

She slid the barrel into firing position, pulled out the bipod leg and placed the upper receiver. She pulled back the bulk groove and pushed on the lower receiver. The pins were fitted smoothly and finally, she pulled back the bolt.
Two bullets fitted perfectly into the magazine. It was clasped perfectly and the Barrett M82A1 sniper was pivoted towards the top window. Joanna slowly fitted the suppressor at the end of the machine after removing the muzzle brake. She kept one eye open and flipped her hair to get a clearer vision through the long telescope.
"When I'm done," she breathed heavily, "send the message and threaten them as much as possible got it!"

Timmy stared at his crew and nodded in agreement.

"Where did you learn how to do that?" Timmy pointed at the matt black sniper.
"The internet," she rolled her eyes.
He continued staring at her in shock. She looked at him and scoffed.
"Andrew and I," she started talking, "we went for gun lessons in Texas. He has a gun licence, I don't. But, I know how this thing works, trust me."

She wore her thick headphones to block out all the noise - the neighbours screaming at the end of the block and just the sound of her demons haunting her.
"Let's fire this bad boy," she cocked the gun and waited until the air was still enough.
Grabbing the sniper with both hands, she slept on the floor and everyone near her evacuated immediately to a safer distance.

Keisha opened the curtains to view the isolated moon that dazzled in the evening.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Keisha smiled whilst Andrew held her waist.
"It really is," I smiled back.

The baby cried and I volunteered to shush her.
"I'll get that," the baby whined.

Joanna slowly removed the safety and gripped the gun harder. The finger danced near the trigger. Three, two, one, fire!
The bullet whizzed through the window pane and lodged into Keisha's back like a dart. She collapsed on the floor and heard Andrew screaming in frustration.
"What's your emergency!" The man behind the phone called out.
Andrew placed the dying Keisha on the bed and stared at her beautiful, brown eyes.
"My wife was shot!" He pressed hard on the wound to avoid blood from escaping.
"Hey," she whispered, "it's okay," she smiled faintly.
"Lorna must take care of the baby. I trust her," her voice a whisper now.
"No!" I applied more pressure.
"Goodbye, till we meet," she smiled and slowly closed her eyes.
"Stay with me woman!" I screamed and opened her eyelids.
The baby whined and the ambulance siren wailed in the distance.

"Shit!" Joanna muttered and stared in shock at the window pane.
"Did it work?" Timmy slowly approached her.
"Ummm, yeah let's get out of here fast!" She disassembled the sniper and quickly placed it in the black box.
Timmy yanked her arm and stared at the frightened Joanna.
"What did you do?" Timmy clenched his jaw.
"Sh-he's dead," she stammered. "It was a mistake, I swear. Quick, let's disperse before the police arrive!"
"Fuck!" Timmy cried and rolled on his black motorcycle. "I'll find you, I swear! Let's roll boys."
Tires screeched and everyone dispersed.
Till we meet, she whispered and placed the box in the car.
Her tires screeched and she headed off along an endless pathway until she was out of site.
